A sharp pain crossed my chest. 

"You are fucking annoying. You can't even do something right" he said as he put on his footwear.

I feel my eyes tear up as I watch him head towards the door. 

"I want my fucking food ready before I get back" the last thing he said before slamming the door, making me flinch. 

My tears made its way out as I cover myself up with the sheets. 

Sky, my dog came up on the bed, giving me that look whenever he sees me sad. 

Sniffling I hugged him. 

"He is going out to see another girl Sky" I cried, feeling the piercing pain squeeze my heart. 

"I didn't mean to upset him. Now he is angry with me, and has gone out to see another girl" tears flowed out of eyes the more as I hugged Sky. 

He made a sad sound making me look at him. His eyes is big and sad as well. He hates seeing me like this.

I wipe my tears as I caress his fur.

"Sorry Sky. I know you don't like seeing me cry. I promise not to cry again." 

He brought out his tongue showing happiness. I smiled a little at him as I caress his ears. He moved his legs as I do that. He really likes it. 

I heaved a sigh.

You must be wondering what my name is. My name is Cora Davidson. I turned nineteen two days ago. 

It wasn't exactly a perfect birthday. I wanted a Barbie doll and a stuffed pony but Hunter said I don't deserve it. 

I guess he is right. I haven't been a good girl lately. He yell at me all the time these days. Way more than he use to. Just like earlier. 

Now he is out there to find another girl that is better than I am. 

I caused it. I totally caused it.

Hunter. 

Hunter is my boyfriend. More like my life. I can't do without him. I love him so much. I know he loves me too. Right? 

Yes he does. 

He is always angry with me because I mess up all the time. I really need to stop. 

"Cora you have to stop upsetting him!" 

Sky looked at me questionably.

I smile a little. "Sorry Sky I am just cautioning myself. I need to learn to be a good girl always. Good for Hunter" 

Sky looked away from me. 

He doesn't like Hunter. I guess it's because he usually witness it whenever Hunter hits me. And Hunter would kick him anytime he is in Hunter's way. 

Don't get me wrong, Hunter is not a bad person. I just provoke him with my misbehaviours. I can't remember what I did the last time he hit me cause it was a different thing. But other times, I would forget to take his clothes to the dry cleaner and he will get furious and hit me with his belt. 

I hate that thing. My arch enemy. 

He doesn't use it on me all the time though. Just slaps on my face or my ass. 

He calls it my punishment for being a bad girl. 

He is right. I am a bad girl. 

And I know why. It's because of the cartoons I watch with Sky all the time while Hunter is away to work. The cartoons they make these days are so interesting. Including the new human Ariel! 

But it makes me forget everything I am supposed to do. 

Ugh Cora! 

You can't keep upsetting him. He will kick you out! 

Yeah he would threaten me with that all the time and that's my ultimate nightmare.

I can't imagine my life out there alone. And without Hunter? No way. 

He is my saviour. My everything. 

I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for him. He saved my life. 

I grew up in an orphanage home where it was never easy. The sisters there weren't so nice to us. They treated us so badly, including the little babies too. Sometimes they deny them food. I felt so bad for them that I had to steal from the Mother superior and feed them. They are too young to be denied food. 

The orphanage was a very small one. No one regarded us. I managed to stay there till I turned seventeen and escaped. 

I escaped because they wanted to sell kids my age off to some scary Russian men. I managed to escape, leaving my friends who couldn't run away with me. 

Till date, I still miss them.

I put them in my prayers always. I pray to God to keep them alive and in safe hands. I just hope that someday we will meet again. 

I guess the sisters noticed my absence cause the security men at the orphanage came after me. They chased me for almost thirty minutes till I bumped into Hunter. He was inside his car when I ran out from the woods and stood Infront of his car. He saved me from them. I watched as he beat them all up and took me away with him.

Since then I have been living with him in his house. He doesn't let me go out or hang around with anyone. He said it's because those men might still be looking for me and once they find me, they will kill me. 

He is right.

I had to do everything he says. 

He is my angel. God sent him to me to save me. He knows what's best for me. I trust him with my life. 

We fell in love just like Ariel and the human prince did. He became my boyfriend. 

He is so cute. Tall, blond hair, pretty blue eyes and cute lips. 

I on the other hand is a total opposite of his height. Not that I am very short but I can barely reach his chest. I have big brown eyes, small nose, plump lips, long brunette hair and I am not that skinny. 

Hunter is angry about that. He said I eat too much and I am getting fat. He stopped me from eating some foods especially my favourite which is steaks. I do everything he told me to do because he knows what's best for me. 

Hunter has been the only air that I breathe. I love him so much. 

Now I have messed up and he is out there with some other ugly girl. 

That won't happen again. I promise to be good and please him well.
