CHAPTER 8

Arthur felt his body stiffened as they neared his bedroom. He had never been with a virgin before, well, not that he couldn’t afford to be with one, but his code of honor just wasn’t going to let that happen. He was a man and he had to treat every woman and child he came across right. If he had just done that earlier in his life, maybe his life would have been much better. But there was no time to start feeling so sorry for himself. He had come far in life and he was going to enjoy the benefits that his money gave him. And, he wasn’t forcing himself on Bella. She had made an offering he was more than willing to accept.

“Umm, I think I need to use the bathroom,” Bella said the moment he ushered her back into his bedroom. He didn’t know why he had brought her back to his bedroom, but his brain reminded him that he had already agreed that there was just something so different about her. She was innocent and pure and there was no way she could taint his bedroom.
