CHAPTER SEVENTY SIX - UNCERTAINTY AND MIXED FEELINGS

Val woke up alone on top of her bed, still dressed in her pyjamas, a comforter keeping her warm. It was nearly ten o'clock in the morning, and she had no idea where Alex was or where he had gone to.
