Chapter Fourteen

Pain:

Nora went up to the stage, they all bowed to her and thanked her. She smiled softly at them taking a seat. Her eyes scanned the crowd, she didn't know why she was looking. She would feel him if he was here. She wondered what he had been taking care of.

“Alpha.” Asher's voice came up on the side of her, while she was scanning the room for Jace.

“Asher..Sit with me?” Nora asked, patting the seat next to her.

“It’s usually a spot for the Alpha’s Luna.” Asher said quietly.

“Well I am not going to have a Luna. Your second in command. Sit. Keep me company.” Nora smiled at him.

“If it will make my Alpha happy.” Asher smiled at her sitting down next to her.

A few pack members glanced up seeing Asher sit down in the Luna's seat but no one said anything. Asher motioned for someone serving drinks to bring two up. The server came up, dropping her head every low and handing the two glasses to Asher. He nodded to her and she left. He looked at the two glasses handing one to Nora.

“What is i
