Marly POV

I staggered backwards under the pressure of the slap. I put a hand to my cheek and held it on the throbbing spot on my face. “What the hell?” I demanded, as I watched the woman walk into the room and slam my door. She locked it behind her, and caused me a moment of panic as I took in her stance,

“Who are you?” she asked me. “Who the hell are you?” I replied. She looked me up and down. I was still in my torn dress with Carson’s suit jacket covering my body. “I am the Luna of the Full Moon Pack,” she responded proudly. I looked at her, “My understanding is that you are the acting Luna,” I said calmly.

Seeing her face go red gave me a brief moment of happiness, until she grabbed the jacket and ripped it from my body. A chill rolled over my body, as I simply stood there in shock. “You heard wrong,” she stated, before repeating, “Who are you and why are you wearing Carson’s jacket?” she demanded.
