“H-He doesn’t love you, Erina. He’s just messing with you, okay?” I told myself while clutching my hair.

I’ve been going crazy thinking about what Louie did earlier—how he kissed me. Even now, I still can’t believe he could kiss me without a valid reason.

I'm not mad because I know I was the one who gave him a reason to do it. But I just can't get it out of my mind because our lips have touched twice already, and it's something I never wanted to happen. And I don’t want it to happen again without a valid reason.

“It was just a kiss, Erina. It didn’t mean anything,” I reminded myself again, but I suddenly started stomping my feet in frustration while sitting on the bed.

Next time, I really won’t sulk at him anymore—he might do something even more than just a kiss. But hopefully, it doesn’t go that far.
