Chapter 30- A Deal

Claire gasped as Gami let go of her hand. Her tears flowed again. She felt the pain in her chest from the past. The sins she committed. All the guilt and tiredness. Now, she is free from that life.

But is her soul free from guilt? Did her death pay the guilt for the death of the vampire she loved? I do not think so. Why is her chest still heavy despite of everything?

"Let me tell you how you ended your life," said Gami who started walking.

Claire seemed to lose the ability to think and just followed. She accompanies the soul reaper in walking unlike other souls who are ahead of this soul reaper.

"Of course, I've been following you because I know it's your time. When you got to the place with the high cliff, you just left your car on the highway and approached the cliff. You apologized to Jacob several times before you finally jumped. When you fell down, your head hit a large chunk of rocks. Your skull was cracked. But then, the moment you landed, you didn't know that the vampire was f
