Ashley’s POV

“You’re fine alone? Are you sure?” Phil asked and I nodded my head in confirmation. I mean, after that dream I suddenly had a bout of energy. I don’t know where that came from but I’m suddenly energized. I guess I should take it easy but I feel like I’m a bit better. That’s weird but whatever, everything is weird around me. I’m in a decaying meat suit with a brain that’s going livin la vida loca haywire on me.

“I’m fine Phil—really. I’ll just finish up a few of my lesson plans, have coffee and dinner then go to bed. Sorry for worrying you—I really had no idea what just happened.” I said and Phil patted my head, comforting me.
