Jenna's POV
"Where am I?" It was the first thing I said in a whisper-voice when I came around.
I was in a car— a limousine, lying in a seat and covered with a blanket that smelled like smoked wood. The inside of the car was painted expensive red and there was very little light. I pressed my lips together as I attempted to sit up.
I may have caused a rustling sound because next, a pair of strong hands came out of nowhere. My heart skipped a beat when they held my shoulders and helped me to sit.
"Thanks, but who are you? Is this your car?" I asked as I whimpered quietly.
My belly was big between us. Although my vision wasn't very clear right now, I saw the man's eyes focused on my belly. I immediately covered it with a hand, making his eyes snap up. That's when lights filled the car and I gasped in bewilderment.
Goddess! The man was gorgeous. It was as if a hot, very hot male lead character jumped out of the Korean Manhwa. His hair was platinum silver, skin tanned and eyes so gray, I had to hold back my breaths for a minute. His jaw was sharp like a knife and his lips... My heart staggered as I observed his pink, finely-shaped lips.
Down below, he had a thick and veiny neck, which made me gulp hard. Damn it! I was a married woman, and carrying a child. Why was I feeling tingles between my legs!
'Has he really jumped out of a Korean Manhwa? Goddess, look at his broad shoulders. Can you please wrap your arms around them so we can feel him up?' My wolf was salivating at the sight of him.
'No, way! Control yourself. We have a mate.'
'Who's going to be an ex-mate very soon?' Her reply got me looking down.
But that was a mistake because I noticed a portion of his strong chest, peeking out of his shirt. An urge to run my fingers down the open buttons gripped me, but I clenched my hands tightly into balls to avoid it.
A cough from him got me shaking. I looked up and opened my mouth in daze because his eyes were really pretty.
"Done checking me out!"
"Huh?"
"I said—"
"Be a little gentle, Mad Alpha! She's carrying a child." A male voice sounded out of nowhere that interrupted this man in front of me from whatever he was going to say.
"Yeah, right!" The gray-eyed man jumped inside the car and sat across from me as his expression changed. If it was full of arrogance before, now he looked calm, but totally stoic.
"I want to leave." I tried to get up when the man extended a hand out, blocking the opened door of the car.
"You can't."
"I can't? And who do you think you are to stop me!" Anger boiled through me. I was suddenly in possessive-protective mode. I also noticed the man was taking unnecessarily long and desperate glances at my belly, making my body tense in alarm.
The man gave me a lazy look like talking to me was a waste of time. That alone caused irritation to spark through me. What does he think of himself? Judging by his expensive black suit, I can tell he's some wealthy man. But I'm the Luna of this pack.
I was about to snap at him and set him right when another head peeked inside the car. Again, I gasped because this man was also gorgeous.
"Hey, I'm Oakley Voss. His Beta." He grinned before sitting beside the arrogant man, who I now know is an Alpha.
"So you're an Alpha, and you don't know how to respect a Luna? This is really disappointing. Has no one taught you manners in your pack! Didn't your Alpha father send you to training before he gave you the pack? You are so—"
"Do you always speak so much... Like a chatter box with no pause button?" He said with a dead look and my jaw dropped.
"You–"
"Okay, okay, you guys," Oakley raised his hands between us. "Can we please do this nicely? Jace, don't be rude. That's not exactly how you speak to a frightened pregnant woman. And Luna Jenna, I hope you can be a little respectful to him since he saved you."
The last part of his sentence made my body lock up. I remembered how I felt weirdly shaky near the lake. I hastily gazed out and realized we were parked beside the lake. I would have fallen, and God forbid, lost my child too had this Alpha Jace not come.
"You saved me?" I asked gently, my face becoming soft. He just shrugged like it wasn't a big deal.
"Thank you, Alpha Jace. I'm glad you came, although I wasn't informed about your visit. If I knew you're coming, I would have sent my Beta to get you." I smiled, though I honestly had no idea he was an Alpha of which pack.
I have never heard his name before, after all. Sure, I heard many named Jace. But an Alpha named Jace was new to me.
I was going to extend my token of gratitude to him when he said something that closed my throat.
"I came because I found out where my child is."
My fingers tightened over my stomach, "Your child?"
His gaze dropped briefly to my stomach before returning to my eyes, "Yeah. He's mine."
Whatever gratitude I felt earlier now turned to animosity. I knew at once that the man was lying. I heard Chris and Henry talk about the real father of my baby being a weak omega.
My heart rate was spiking again. Luckily Gianna pointed it out and I composed myself. However, now my eyes desperately lingered at the open door. I need to find a way to get out.
"Look, I'm really happy that you saved me. I need to go home now. So if you please—"
"I think you didn't hear me, woman." A burst of adrenaline electrified my veins as he placed both his hands on the seat, caging me in. "The baby you're carrying... It's mine."
My hands tightened around my belly. More because since he came close, my baby started kicking wildly. This was exactly how he had been kicking near the lake before I passed out.
I was this close to crying in helplessness when my wolf remarked, 'Maybe he's right, Jenna. Our son... He... Let's not say it now else you'll go mad.'
'What is it, Gianna, tell me?'
I never got to hear my wolf's words as Alpha Jace turned my face to him by my chin.
"Listen, I'm not here to scare you. Calm down as I don't want my child to suffer."
I slapped his hand away and shifted back, my eyes jumping from one man to another. My body was shaking and on top of that, my baby was fluttering in my belly like a butterfly.
"How is it possible? You're an Alpha and my husband said the donor of the sperm we used was an omega male’s." I gritted my teeth.
Oakley leaned towards me while producing a document, "I can help here, Luna Jenna. The thing is... The doctor at the lab made a mistake. He was drunk and he used Jace's sperm mistakenly. But he kept quiet because he was afraid of losing his job— or worse his life because he was strictly instructed to use an omega's sperm for you."
"So you're saying your Alpha is the donor?"
A faint, humorless smile touched Jace's lips, "He's saying I'm the biological father of the child you're carrying."
My brows pulled together. My hands instinctively covered my stomach. Jace's eyes lowered. His eyebrows knitted but he didn't say anything.
I was glad he wasn't because what I was feeling right now was too intense, too raw, and too terrifying.
I was fine when I heard my baby was an omega's. That meant I was solely responsible for my child even if Chris kicked us out. Though I was a bit scared of raising it alone, this new revelation at hand made me feel helplessly bound.
I looked up at Alpha Jace's face. His eyes were steel-like cold and the way his face was set, it appeared that he hadn't smiled in years. The fact that he came from money made it even more difficult because— I couldn't even try to deny him any right over my child.
"Luna Jenna, I also have the confession video of the doctor." Oakley said and played a recording on his phone.
Surely, the doctor of the fertility center we went to through Henry's recommendation was sitting on his knees, shaking and crying in fright. His face was bloody and battered. One of his eyes was black and his nose looked like it was broken. He confessed to drinking during work hours and making that mistake.
"So you see, we are not lying here. And we're not here to intimidate you either. We just—" His face paled as his eyes dipped down between my legs.
I became conscious and shot out a hand to touch between my legs.
There was wetness there, which I hadn't noticed before. Trembles shook my body, and before I could react, a gush of fluid suddenly spilled between my legs, dripping onto their shoes. Shit, my water had broken.
I stared at the two men, especially Alpha Jace whose back erected like steel was lodged into his spine. We were looking at each other. He extended a hand out to hold mine when it happened, my first ever contraction.
"Ahhhhhhh!" And I screamed.

Chapter 58 Jace's POV We were silent for a long time. Neither of us spoke. Suddenly Jenna lifted her face and eyes me innocently."What?" I chuckled. She nodded in no, "You burned Liza alive."My face stilled. I pulled her closer and joined our foreheads, "I had to. She was the bane of our family."I kissed her."Also," I added. "She made me doubt my wife's intentions. I had to punish her."At that, she hugged me tighter and rested her face on my shoulder. She was sitting straddling my waist while I held her like my toddler baby.My back had healed. Hence, I was able to sit this way.The doctors had been worried because the wound wasn't healing in my state of unconsciousness. That's the reason why they refused to give any answer. But the second I woke up, the wound healed, and all the residue of wolfsbane and silver was eliminated by my immune system."What happened to Chris and that lady?" I suddenly asked as I remembered those two."Both dead. And that lady was Doctor Henry's daug
Chapter 57Jenna's POV 'Thanks, bro. Head towards the Rogues' territory with your team. I'll meet you there.''Roger that!''Okay.'We broke the link. I sucked a sharp breath as I focused on the road ahead. If I drive at high speed, I'll get there in twenty minutes.Jenna, hold on for a while, love. Your husband is coming to get you.(Twenty minutes later)"Jace, finally you're here." Oakley came running towards my car as I applied brakes."Did you find her location?" I was not even fully out of the car."Yes, and already stationed our soldiers around the area." Oakley said, sending a wave of relief through me."Thank, goddess.""Don't worry, Jace. The situation is already in our control." Oakley flashed a shark grin and my eyebrows cocked in confusion. "Chris's soldiers look novice. They are not attentive at all, let alone alert.""I think he brought untrained wolves here. And I must add that his Beta and Gamma are not here either."I acknowledged with a nod, "He's probably doing it
Chapter 56Jenna's POV Jace has never touched her before. He hadn't done it this time either. It's that bìtch who always found ways to go near him.'There's no point in giving yourself false hope, Jenna. Jace isn't the man we thought he was. Accept it.' Gianna said.A feeling of disappointment rose over me. No! My wolf is not right here. She's hurt from Jace's wolf's words, and rest is the impact of wolfsbane.Jace loves us.'You really think that? Then tell me, why didn't he come after us when we left?'he He might have a reason.'No,' Gianna grunted weakly. 'It's because he was bewitched by his mistress's beauty and he chose her instead.'That's not true. I was breathless in anger. Gianna's words struck a chord that it shouldn't have.'I'll prove it to you that Jace still only loves us.'Having that said, I lowered my guard. I had blocked out everyone and their feelings to avoid getting caught. However, as I lowered my guard, I could feel my family's emotions— Jace's first. He was
Chapter 55Jenna's POVI regained my senses at the feeling of stabbing spasms stretching throughout my body. My eyelids were heavy and so I couldn't drag them open. But my other senses were working well.I could hear and smell and feel my surroundings. The air was crackling with the chirping of thousands of crickets, meaning that I was most likely in a forest area; or where there were a lot of trees.I dragged in a deep breath to catch scents, and realized that wood was burning somewhere. Then I heard the noise of fire crackling. A bonfire. I subtly rubbed my hand on the ground and sensed the coarse texture. Soil. All the elements directed to one point, I was in a forest. My eyes felt better now. I was about to open them when, "Hadn't she woken up yet?" A familiar voice asked."No, Alpha Chris. After she turned into her human form while fainting, she's been just like that." Someone said,It wasn't Cleo's voice. Hmm. Perhaps Chris flew all the way to Silent Hills city with a small team
Chapter 54Jace's POV "Let this be a lesson to all those who think they can fool the Alpha King just because I trust them." I announced as I paced around with a flaming torch in my hand. Behind me a pyre was built in the middle of the city for people to watch. On it Liza was tied to a pole. She was drenched with petrol and shaking. Her eyes were red. She begged me to let her go, that she was honestly apologetic. That she acknowledged her blunder and would go away. "My trust has never been a weakness. My willingness to believe in those who stand beside me does not make me blind, nor does my kindness make me a fool. I give people my trust because I choose to see the good in them. Because I consider them my previous ones. But the moment that trust is betrayed, do not mistake my silence for ignorance. And don't ever think that you can outsmart me."I came to a halt. The flames were crackling beside my face. It was night now, the sky was dark with no stars. There were light poles around
