Third person's POV:The next day, Evangeline woke up with a nasty headache and stuffy nose.It was the aftermath of her vicious crying. Sighing she got out of the bed and headed to the bathroom. She sat on the toilet seat, relieved her bladder and got up after cleaning herself. When she stood in front of the mirror, a low scream left her mouth at the sight before her.Her neck was covered with purplish red finger marks where the man squeezed her. Looking at these bruises, tears began to fill in her eyes. She took her hand to her neck. But flinched in pain as her fingers brushed against her neck. Her throat was sore."I definitely need to see a doctor for this." She mumbled. She washed her face, brushed her teeth and came out. When she went to the dining room, Valerie gasped as her eyes fell on her neck."Goodness! It looks horrible." She remarked."Let's eat quickly,

Evangeline's POV:The darkness intensified, the godforsaken dungeon was pitch dark now.It got to me that night had already fallen. I could hear the crickets.Even though I tried calling for people all day, no one came. It only resulted in my exhaustion and disappointment, nothing more.Body was already drained, the bit of hope that rose in my heart, it vanished. No one responded even through I screamed all day long. My eyes grew heavy, but I didn’t dare closing them.I was afraid to sleep, I was afraid to hear those awful cries and screams like yesterday.A yawn escaped my lips, my eyes watered.I had to stay awake, I wanted to know if someone would come today as well. And if anyone came, I wanted to confront him/her.I wanted to know why they captured me and kept me in this dungeon? What actually they wanted from me?It was so dark that I couldn’t even see my own body myself. The surrounding itself was scarier, it reminded me a

Evangeline's POV:Eliot?Does he miss me?And Valerie?Did they notice my disappearance? Did they try to call the cops?I thought. A shaky breath left my mouth. I felt so weak. Leaning against the wall, I closed my eyes. This torture seemed endless. The silence was terrifying, this isolation was maddening.I didn’t even understand why I was going through this type of horror.Sighing, I opened my eyes. And instantly a scream tore free from my mouth when my gaze fell on the floor. It was Elliot. He was lying like a corpse. His eyes were closed. His throat was slit and blood was gushing from there. His entire body was wounded, and he was bleeding from there too. His arms were bruised, bleeding. He looked horrible and dead.I blinked my eyes a few times to see if it was really or my illusion. Rubbing, I opened my eyes, and it was the same, Elliot's corpse. His clothes were torn in many places and entire body looked

Theodore's POV: "What? She has woken up?" I said over the mobile. Liza just informed me that Evangeline had woken up a few hours ago. "You can't meet her, she is asleep now. But I have important things to discuss with you, alpha." "Actually her condition isn't good. It’s kinda serious." She spoke. "What's wrong with her?" I queried. "I don't know where she had been, alpha. But it seems like she had been locked up inside a concentration camp, was tortured and starved. Apart from her low blood pressure, malnourishment, another thing is worrisome. She got a severe concussion from hitting her head. I got her CT scan report, and it's quite clear." Liza said. "Her vision is blurry, she can't see properly. She forgot how she ended up here, her limb movements are shaky and imbalanced, words gets slurred when she talks. If not treated now, this head injury may cause serious and permanent damage for her in the future like eye damage, neurological disorder, develop migraine or affect her co
