Chapter 21"You know you hurt mom last night, right?" Daryl informed as he took out a bottled water from the fridge. He leaned against the fridge and stared straight at Carter who sat on the sofa across from him. Carter remained all but quiet, taking care of the little work left on his laptop and hoping Daryl wouldn't press further on the topic. Paisley had talked to him the previous night, and like he promised her, he planned on spending the entire day with nothing but that on his mind. However, Daryl prying in on the situation was liable to make him snap. "You shouldn't have said that""Daryl" Carl warned with a shake of his head. Daryl let out a sigh and turned to Carter;"I just want you to apologise to mom. She went to bed pretty shake

Chapter 23Jordan let out a deep sigh as he entered his new home. He loosened his tie and a faint smile crossed his face as he walked by the to-be nursery room. It's all feeling too real now....huh? He entered their bedroom and caught sight of Kori sitting on the bed. She had her phone to her ear and shot him a bright grin when she noticed him. "Oh yeah, it's Jordan. He just came home from work" she explained and Jordan rose his brows."Your mom?" He whispered and Kori nodded a reply. "He's tired, mom. He'll make sure to call you later""Hello, Tessa!" Jordan yelled into the phone, startling Kori and earning a playful glare from her."She says hello too" Kori

Hello readers,I want to thank every one of you for reading The F Word. And for those who have waited so long to see these chapters,  I'm sorry for taking so long to update my book , and thank you for not abandoning it🙇‍♀️I've been in stuck in a recurring writers block,  mostly because my mental health these days have been low. But, I will try my best to give you guys an entertaining story. It is my first time writing a book where the main characters get together after a few chapters. So I'm sorry if it feels like their relationship is...well, boring.Starting from chapter  25, obstacles to Carter and Paisley's relationship will appear one by one. Also, I have a lot planned for Kori and Jordan as well. Its going to be a bumpy ride from here onwards. So stick with this incompetent writer and keep reading The F Word. I'm grateful for every one of you reading and leaving votes and comments. &n

Chapter 26*"You're coming back tomorrow right? Let's grab a meal together when you do"*"Tommorrow's Karter's birthday remember? We'll have to take a rain check"*"Thursday then, I'll be free anyways. I took some days off work"*"Then, it's a date" Paisey smiled. She hung up the call, then let out a low sigh when she leaned her head against the windshield frame. Her stomach churned, and her mind kept wandering off to Lucy's hand holding unto Carter's."We've kissed a few times, we've barely hugged each other too. But who does she think she is to cling to him like some sea barnacle?!" Paisley groaned. "Tch! It annoys me everytime I think about it"*But...what am I doing stuck in his car? Why did I leave in the first place? He's my boyfriend right? That means I have the right to stay by his side and ward that Lucy girl off.*Maybe it was Kori's call, or the constant thought of Lucy latching unto Carter without her around, but Paisley mustered the courage to go back in.*It's fine. It's
