CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO

FOE OR FRIEND? I slowly walked up the stairs reading the form that the tattooed man had gave me.“Tsk, modeling?” Tossing the form away. There was no way I was going to enter modeling, who would want to stare at me? In fact, I was too fat to be a model.“So, you are a model?” an unfamiliar voice asked.I rapidly turned my head back to see who was talking to me. “Hi, I’m Charlie, Charlie Green,”I stared at the tall woman behind me, who had the form I had thrown away on her hand. So, this was the Charlie who lived in room 3. She looked older than what I had expected, probably 30 years old. To be quite Frank something about her was churning.“I thought I will die without seeing a real model,”“I’m not,” I quickly replied. Her eyes widen. “oh,”I then turned away from her resuming with my journey. “HEY!”I stopped walking. “I think it’s will be fair if you share your name after all I did share mine,”

CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE

BOUNDRY CROSSEDI leaned against the wall stuffing the black crystals inside the cigarette I was carrying, with my eyes slightly on the horizon. The loud laughter, which I knew belonged to Hendrik and his ten friends was unignorable. I carefully burnt the butt of the cigarette gracefully as the flavor of petrol filled my mouth.I slowly closed my eyes enjoying the flavor. The sound of the door clicks opening caught my attention. I quickly peeled my eyes open and stared at Geno who had stepped out from his apartment which was beside the steps, I was standing on.“Why were you following me today?” I asked placing the cigarette behind my back.“Excuse me?” he asked sliding his hands inside his jean jacket’s pockets.“I saw you, and that girl friend of yours”“Anastasia?” he asked.“I don’t know and don’t care,” I rudely replied.“A

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

NEW SIDEMy eyes stayed locked on the door before me, listening to the conversation going on the other side.“We should sell her,” Elie suggested.“Sell? Who will want to buy a crazy woman, did you see what she did to Mike?” Edge asked. “Let’s just silent her,” Bob suggested.“No, we are not murders,” Andy disagreed with Bob’s plan.“So, what do you suggest we do Mr. know it all?” Bob rudely asked.“I…” he stuttered.“You see, you also don’t know,”“You should all leave it’s late,” Hendrik finally spoke.“Bu…” Elie tired.“No, leave I want to go sleep,” Hendrik harshly said.“Fine, let go guys,” Edge said.I heard a footsteps and door open and closing followed. Hendrik’s huge loud foot steps echoed inside the w

WOMAN REVOLUTION!I continuously scabbed my body which had turned red. “You know Rin, people like us are not meant to have anything good, so hoping we get people who actually love us is pointless,” echoed in my head.I finally stopped scabbing my body and got up heading to the sink. I stared at my reflection. Just like a year ago I still felt disgusted to see myself. I took the pair of scissors from the sink and started cutting my hair. I watched each hair falling on the sink.I placed back the pair of scissors on the sink near the pack of black crystal reaching my hand for the roll of bandages on the sink. I carefully wrapped it around my breast, until I couldn’t see any of that god forsaken part of my body.I pulled the old grey hoodie and pair of old jeans from the chair beside me wearing them. I took the pack of black crystal and shoved it at the back of my jeans. One last time I stared at the new Siren Weapon before me.I then walk

CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

POWERI watched Hendrik taking off his leather jacket and hung it o the hook just beside the door. Sweat dripped down his neck and his hands were stained with blood. Chills ran down my spine still with my eyes on him, not sure if he was aware of my presence. He took off his T-shirt wiped his bloody hands before tossing it on the floor. He glanced at me then shifted his eyes back on the leather jacket hung on the hook before him. My eyes suddenly caught sight of the fire arm tucked at the back of his pants. He slid his hands inside the pockets.I placed my foot on the floor, heading toward him slowly. I noticed his hands stopped moving and the corner of his eye kept its attention locked on me. Like a predator observing its prey. I embraced his waist. I felt his body tense up. The smell of sweat and cigarettes filled my nose as I held on him even more tightly.“Tired?” I softly asked. After that question I felt his hands untightening my g

CONFESSION“Two packs are missing,” Hendrik stated.“Are you sure?” Bob asked.“What do you take me for? Yes, I’m sure!” Hendrik sharply said. “I had fifteen packs now there are only thirteen.” The door clicked open as I quickly moved to the balcony, pretending to be staring at the sky. Rosie appeared. She closed the door from behind her.She walked toward me and stared at the people walking below our building. Most were heading to work. My mother also used to go to work at these early hours before I got ready for school. She would always leave the house after she had prepared my lunch box even if I told her not to prepare it for me.“Crazy how seasons change so fast,” Rosie pulled me out from my wild thoughts.“What do you want?” I asked. She turned her gaze to me. “Don’t you think I should be the one asking you that?”“What do you mean?” I asked.“Do you really think Hendrik loves

CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT

A WEEK LATERSISTER’S OF HELLCold wind blew pass us blowing her light brunette hair onto her face. “It’s been a week already and I haven’t found a thing about this stupid location,” I cursed. “Fuck this thing, I’m leaving,”She didn’t answer me only stared at the people walking below the old building we were standing on top.“I’m going to Incognito,” walking away.“When I was fourteen years old, I was rapped, rapped by four men,” a laughter escaped her lips. “Crazy, one of them was my damn father, not step but biological father, him and his friends rapped me,”I felt my body freeze. The memory of Toll came back flooding. His dry lips on my lips while I tried resisting.“Toll, stop!” I had begged between tears. Why was she telling me all this? She pulled out a cigarette from her leather j

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

LOCATIONI watched Geno talking with the young woman with natural henna hair. He handed her a box which was wrapped with a newspaper, which she got excited after opening it. She gave him a hug, almost knocking him off his bicycle.“You are awake?” Rosie’s voice asked.I shifted my eyes toward her.“Umm,”She poured the hot water from the kettle beside me inside her mug. Her skinny hands took one of the clean tea spoons from the bowl, and poured three spoons of sugar inside her mug. Something about her presence was unbearable. I placed the cup of tea on the sink and headed for the door. Before I could step out she said, “Trusting Charlie is like trusting a man,”I felt my body tense. “She’s trouble, trust me I know,” She walked pass me heading to Eight who had stepped out his room rubbing his eyes.“Hello big boy,” She playfully said pulling Eight&

DEADLY BLUNDER“7pm sharp?” she asked.I nodded.“Good job Siren, I knew I could count on you,”“So, what are going to do now?” I asked.“Burn down the men’s world,” staring at the dark sky, covered with stars. “What else could I possibly do?”“Let me help you,” I insisted.“You’ve helped me enough, now it’s my time to fulfill my end of the burden,”I stared at her mesmerized. How could she be so confident, when she was just a single person?“Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine,” she said puffing out smoke from her lips.“What are you to Rosie?” my mouth blabbed. She shifted her face toward me.“What?”“How do you know Rosie?” I asked. Her eyes widen. “What did you do to her?”I noticed her body stiffen. What was she hiding from me? She slowly reached in her jacket’s pocket.“Thank you for the information,” she dismissed me, while handing me bank notes wrapped with a newsp

CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

TRAP, KEEP FEELINGBlood dripped onto the floor as I blinked a multiple times. The screeching sound of the chair caught my attention. “I’ll ask you one last time, who are you working for?” Edge asked pushing my face up with a knife.Something about his eyes seemed dangerous, but not as dangerous as Hendrik’s. My eye suddenly caught sight of Andy standing beside the door. There was no sign of Hendrik, at least for the time being I could think of a way to escape.“I already told you, I don’t know what you are talking about!” I yelled. “Please believe me!”His hand moved closer to my face showing me a pack of black crystal on it.“How do you explain this? This was found in your clothes,” Edge explained.“N…”The memory of their conversation a week ago talking about someone stealing their stuff came flooding in my mind.“You
