31- There's More
Derek and I could talk about everything and anything. We liked the same movies, the same music, and thankfully held the same political and religious beliefs. Being with him was just so easy, so natural, it had felt like we knew each other for years. Having all this money flaunted around was hard for me ... just a couple weeks ago I was shopping at thrift stores … happily! Now my fiance was begging me to take his black Amex and hit the mall. I just didn’t see the point. I’m not a better person, I’m not smarter or somehow elevated because of the labels on my clothes. I just didn’t care about it all. I had learned some stuff from the closet at Haven’s, like about the red bottom shoes supposedly being a status symbol. Some handbags were worth so much they were basically an investment just as much as buying a stock would be.But most of those clothes and shoes ... were also the most uncomfortable things on the planet!

32 - All In
We were now turned so his head was on my chest and I was stroking his hair. “Keep going baby,” I said. He let out a long breath. “When I was real little, my grandparents were trying to figure things out, you know long term. My grandmother’s family had money too, so there was a ton of inheritance to be had. Neither of them trusted mom and neither wanted her to get it but she was blood so it was tricky. Luckily, mom didn’t know much about how it all worked, and so … nobody bothered to tell her. There were certain, I guess you’d call them milestones that you had to hit. The first was being married by a certain age, then having an heir by a certain age. My grandfather seemed to think that by having a child so young, out of wedlock and by a married man, she forfeited it anyhow. Everything got transferred to me, but until I reached the milestones, I just got like a monthly allowance

33 - Ruby
The money obviously didn’t mean shit to me. But not having to sign a prenup, was real trust. It was a clear message to his family that he trusted me. Why did he trust me though, he barely knew me! It was all still too much. Literally just as soon as we were done with our little romp, the plane was about to land. We quickly dressed and my once decent looking curls were now a frizzy mess. I got my hair a bit damp and put it up in a bun, oh well. So much for making a decent first impression.I was pretty sure I’d been quiet, but when I came out I noticed literally everyone had in headphones anyway, so I relaxed. Derek wandered out, looking perfect and like nothing happened, of course. The stupid grin plastered on his face told the story.   There were two cars waiting for us, and Heath drove for us and Marcus, Derek’s assistant. I had barely ever even seen Marcus’s eyes, they were always buried in an Ipad or

34 - Secret Day
Derek took me upstairs to get dressed, which turned into him going down on me and I was sure everyone would notice how long we were gone. By the time we came back, some of the smaller kids had gone to nap and it was a bit quieter. There was a ton of bar-b-que and desserts. I made small talk with some of his … aunts? Cousins? I guessed they were his second cousins. I talked to them about where I was from and what I was doing in school. It seemed they were all a part of the family business in some way. His grandfather mostly sat and listened to all the chatter, seeming to enjoy himself. I wondered what all Derek had told him about me. I really enjoyed Sally, she obviously didn't come from money, you could even just tell by the way she spoke. It was a lot more on my level.“So Eve, is Derek going to meet your family soon,” his grandfather asked. “Oh, we haven’t made plans but I guess we should. It

35 - Sizes
~Eve’s Point of View~ I’d been at the mall with Heath for an hour and I was already tired and annoyed. I didn’t see the point in going to these frumpy ass stores and wasting all this money. I wanted to go to Target or Old Navy. I didn’t need to piss money away, and that’s what I felt like I was doing. I was wearing a long thin sweater over leggings and a pair of Vans. I felt incredibly out of place in this mall but I wanted to be comfortable if I was going to be running around all day. Heath said I needed to get a couple evening gowns and I knew it was pointless to argue. I found a boutique with some dresses and Heath hovered near the door while I grabbed a couple to try on. A really sexy open back one caught my eye, it was a blush pink and I loved it. The largest size they had out was a six, and with my hips and chest I usually needed an eight or a ten even. It di

36 - First Impression
~Derek’s Point of View~  I really never took time off, but I was taking four days off to go meet Eve’s family. It wasn’t the best time for me to be away, but I guessed until my plan went through there wouldn’t be a good time. Things were going so well with Eve and I, as I knew it would. She was really somehow making me lighter, making me enjoy life.  I’d been so hell bent on revenge for so long, on busting my ass to get this whole scheme to work, it was my entire life. I wasn’t looking for someone, but one day at lunch Haven just wouldn’t shut up about this girl. Now that I had Eve, she was mine, I was incredibly possessive of her. Either I was with her, or Heath was with her 24/7. I trusted Heath because I knew his type, he had a thing for redheads, and he said right away that Eve reminded him of his sister but I didn’t

37 - Meet The Fam
Morning came and I couldn’t wait to get home. I was just wearing a light sundress and Derek had on khaki shorts, a light blue polo and black jordan sneakers. I had been texting with Cynthia and they had a whole BBQ planned. They had told everyone to come at 12, but my family … showed up when they wanted and it was usually early.  She didn’t want us bringing anything but I felt bad coming empty handed. I kept asking Derek if we should invite Heath but he said Heath was happy staying behind.  I started feeling a bit insecure, I mean my house was nice by lower middle class standards, but I wondered what Derek was expecting. We pulled up to my little white ranch style house on a barely quarter acre lot.  “Wow, the houses are pretty close together, I hope you like your neighbors,” he said, looking around. “Actually yeah, e

38 - Fun and Games
As I expected, he was still buck naked, face down in a pillow, lightly snoring. I chuckled and opened the curtains about half way, letting in some light. I ran a bath, extra hot in case it took a few minutes to wake him up. It was almost 11 and I knew he would want a quickie at best before we left. I got naked and climbed on his back, straddling it. I kissed and ran my fingers over his shoulder blades, and he quickly began to stir. I moved my fingers like feathers across his skin, and then let my breasts caress his back, causing him to try and sit up. “Don’t start something you don’t want to finish little girl,” he said. I giggled, “come on sleepyhead I have a bath ready for us.” He flipped over with me in his lap and lifted me up, carrying me to the tub. He settled in and I got in front of him, giving him a washcloth to clean me.“You snuck a picture of Beth to show him

39 - It Stays Here
Monday brought us absolutely perfect weather for being outside and I was elated to get some fresh air. Beth and Heath were absolutely adorable together, and seeing how careful he was with her, and already very protective, my heart just burst.  It really is crazy how life turns out. If I hadn’t lost my grant, I wouldn’t have gone clubbing with Kari and met Haven. I laughed to myself thinking about it all, now I was with an insanely rich guy and would never have to worry about money again. Beth and I had worn suits under our clothes and when we made it to the waterfall, we all jumped in the water around it. There were a few other couples and even some kids around, but I wished we had it all to ourselves.  I soon found myself starving and as always, Derek read my mind. “Lunch is being set up,” he said pointing to people carrying some picnic baskets and bl

40 - It's Her, It's Him
The next few days seemed to go by like a blur, there was just a flurry of activity around the apartment. Derek made sure that both of his parents were going to be at the party, and I was growing increasingly nervous about meeting them. I had never even seen pictures of them, he didn’t have any around. Before I knew it, Saturday afternoon was here and we were back at his grandfather’s mansion getting dressed. Marcus was absolutely in his element and I was just along for the ride, doing everything he told me.The window of Derek’s bedroom overlooked the side of the property, where they were setting everything up. There were round tables each with seating for eight. There was a stage for a band and a large dance floor was set in the grass. There were icicle and fairy looking lights strung all over the place, with white flowers literally everywhere. Derek had someone come to do my hair and make-up thankfully, b
