It had been two weeks since the funeral for Mister, Pearl, and Queen Esmeralda. Caine and the others had stood guard over, and reorganized everything. It had all been running like a well oiled machine, except for the fact that nobody had seen Justin the whole time. It was the common assumption that he had just left after Pearl's death. Caine had people search for him, but there was no trace of him anywhere, so he assumed what everyone else did, and they gave up. Joy had beaten Georgio's men to Uncle Benny's disgusting ass compound by at least fifteen minutes, so by the time that anyone made it there to stop her, she had already hung Uncle Benny from the ceiling by his wrists on a large pair of hooks that she had brought in her bag. Cat was in a wonderfully happy mood when she entered her and Josh's rooms and found him on the phone talking to someone feverishly. Cat stood quietly in the doorway with a glass of afternoon wine in her hand, and she listened as she tried to figure out just what in the heck the problem was. Della and Queen Rebecca were having wine together privately in the Queen's rooms. Della tried to cheer her sister up, but she wasn't exactly sure yet about why she was so sad at the moment. Della was mid-sentence when a knock came at the door. She stopped what she was saying and got up to answer it. It was Caine, he didn't really say anything as he handed her the note that Cat had left for her, and he walked away. Della looked a little confused as she read the note silently to herself, and then she looked up at her sister with big, sad, knowing eyes.
