~Daniel’s P.O.V~ Samantha isn’t actually having a party. I just wanted to do something special for Kisses. I got Brooks and Kylie in on the idea and they helped me out with it. It worked perfectly. We are currently on our way to the jewelry store. I want to pick something out for Kisses. Something to remind her that I’m always here. The windows are down, California’s brisk, 4pm air flowing through the car. I lean my head back, hoping that Kisses isn’t in any pain. I wish I could take it from her. She doesn’t deserve this. “Dan, man. We are here” Brooks says, snapping in my face. “Sorry” I mumble getting out of his Jeep. We walk in, greeting the workers. I sigh, turning to face Kurt. “What do you want Kurt?” I mumble, hugging my book to my chest. “What’s with all the rumors huh? Something to try and makeup for the fact that you are a sucky person with a terrible personality? That’s disgusting, really” He spits out. “I really don’t have time for this” I say, going to walk away from him. He reaches out, his hand pressing against my side. “You’re not going anywhere”. “Fuck” I curse at the sudden pain. “This isn’t funny and it most definitely doesn’t make you cool” I say, my hand on my side, trying to ease the pain. Its almost healed but that doesn’t mean it can’t still hurt. “Oh yeah? Well I find it really fucking funny” He says turning my head, roughly. “What happened there huh?” He looks at the fading bruise. The makeup must have rubbed off. I pull my arm out of his grip, dropping my book in attempt to get someone’s attention. “It’s non of your business” I say, venom lacing my voice. “No, tell me. I’m curious if the rumors are true”

I wake up with a sore neck and a small weight on my chest, Porsha. The unfamiliar surrounding confuses me at first, soon being replaced with realization. I check the time, 10:30. Not bad. I stroll into the kitchen, humming to a song. I wonder what time Daniel’s game is today. I turn my music on, careful that it isn’t too loud. ‘You say you can’t live without me So why aren’t you dead yet, Why you still breathing?’ Madison’s voice sings as my eggs cook. I swing my hips along to the beat, embracing the effect music has on me. “Are you trying to kill me?” Daniel’s raspy morning voice sounds behind me. I laugh, hugging him. “Good morning, how’s your sleep?” I place a quick kiss on his cheek, flipping the eggs. “I slept good. How did you sleep?” He smiles, leaning against the counter next to me. “It was okay. Do you want some?” I say, he nods. “Thank you” He says when I hand him my original plate. “What time is the game?” I ask, smiling over at him. “One. These are really good

Today I am moving into the apartment with Cody and then going to Brooks party. I’m very excited to finally be on my own and not feel like I’m taking advantage of the Greens. I never really unpacked my boxes so it doesn’t take long to pack everything up. I still have to figure out what to do with my house. I’ll take care of that after I turn 18 so that I can get the money for it. After packing everything I look at Daniel to see his eyes still pressed closed. I shake my head, a smile on my face. Picking up some of the light boxes and bringing them downstairs. “Kisses? Where’s Daniel?” Brooks questions as I struggle with a heavier box. “He’s still sleeping. Its early” I laugh, looking at my watch. Its only 8:30. I wanted to get packing done early. “Go wake his ass up. You need help” Jim takes the box from Brooks. “I can manage” I smile, running up the stairs to grab another box. Once all the boxes are at the door I decide to wait for Daniel to wake up to bring them to the car.

~Skip to my birthday~ I open my eyes, happy to see Daniel’s face next to me, fast asleep. He looks so peaceful. I smile, grabbing my phone and heading downstairs slowly, not wanting to wake anyone. I make a quick cup of coffee, getting some bread, bacon, eggs and sausage from the kitchen. I might as well make everyone breakfast. As I place the bacon in the oven to crisp up, I hear footsteps. “Kisses? What are you doing up? I was going to make you breakfast” Tara gasps seeing me heating up the sausage in a frying pan. “Surprise?” I question, laughing. “Happy birthday sweetie” Tara laughs, pulling me into a hug. I smile, kindly accepting her embrace. “Dammit Tara, she beat us to it” Jim whines seeing me cooking. “You guys do everything for me. Now shush up and stop complaining. Breakfast will be done soon” I smile. “Happy birthday Kisses” Jim laughs, hugging me. “Kisses making breakfast? That was your job mom” Kylie huffs walking into the kitchen with Brooks causing me to laugh. “
