Abyss' POVShifting for the second time so soon took everything out of Lilith meaning she fell into another deep sleep-like state as her body recuperates whilst I finish the business of finding Khai so Lucas doesn't take him. I can feel him sitting on the edge of the property waiting and watching as he listens to his men talking with Andy who is holding them in the underground bunker that Rex and Theo use for their prisoners. In passing, I could smell three individuals that obviously didn't belong to this pack down under a hidden hatch door laced with wolfsbane. To say I'm disappointed in Theo and Rex is an understatement and I shall be chastising them to no end but first, the task of getting Khai to agree to talk or Obsidian, to be honest, will be the best bet.I have been mated to obsidian three times in my lifetime and unfortunately for us, we remember every one of those lifetimes together. I think that's why Khai is adamant not to let history repeat itself, why he's keeping his

Theo's POVLetting Rex head us back to the house in his form leaves me time to think over the fact that Khai has been seemingly missing for months without so much as a whisper from his pack. I guess that's why Damien hasn't put out word of his missing men either, maybe he thinks Khai took them with him or something. Then there's the fact that he is a grey Wolf which is rare for someone so young, and especially for a wolf that is supposed to take over the reins of Alpha in the near future. Maybe he isn't the firstborn Rex tells me giving me food for thought but it's fruitless because I'm not about to go digging my fingers in pies that really have nothing to do with me. After all, my pack doesn’t need to be put on the radar, especially when I’m hiding Lilith and her wolf, for now anyway. Abyss is laying on the floor by the back porch when we get back, her head in her paws as she stares at the direction I have come from. Rex asks her why she hasn't shifted and apparently Lilith is sti

Theo's POVI sit at the table taking a firm seat next to Lilith meaning Khai is sitting all alone waiting for the three men Andy is currently guiding this way. It explains a lot why Damien wasn't bothered that I took those three men in particular if they are Khai's men.But that just leaves questions on top of questions in regards to the fact that Khai is currently 'missing' and has his own men. What is he up to and why?I walked into the kitchen when Khai was agreeing to teach Lilith how to wield power over the elements which means he's planning on staying, at least for now.I need to do some digging, find out what his ammo is and what his purpose is and most importantly why he never wants to be alpha.Because is it he doesn't want to be alpha or is it he will never be the alpha of his father's pack?I'll admit having had time to think it over it would be easier if he wasn't needed to take over from Damien because he could just integrate into my pack... well that's if he accepted Lil

Lilith's POV "Do you know any witches?" I ask Theo as we shower together after getting back from the training field. The warm water is cascading down my skin burning me in its wake. I reach for the faucet turning the water down a tad, I think I've done it three or four times now but it doesn't seem to be getting any cooler as it should. "I know some, why Lil?" I reach to turn it down again as he speaks. "Can any of them lift spells?" "Jesus, are you trying to freeze us?" Theo stops me from turning it down again then answers me with a frown, "I know a few... what spell?" "I don't know, Khai said my memories are locked and the spell can be lifted... I want it lifted" I tell him. My skin starts itching so I try to scratch it everywhere all at once digging harder and scratching faster when the itch only seems to spread instead of disappearing. It starts on my left breast, travelling down to my stomach. "Why are you doing that?" He asks stopping my hand from touching my skin wher

Theo's POVI watch through haze-filled eyes at first when Rex takes over. He pushes forwards as Lilith's body lifts from the bed whilst she cries out 'please' as a wave of need takes hold of her from within. Her smell changes for the final time and fills the room like a fragrance making Rex and myself growl with the need to take her. It's not about willpower anymore, it's about nature and the need to mate, to consummate the bond that lies between us. I couldn't fight it even if I tried, I want her. No need for her and she needs me. We spread her legs whilst taking my pants down, my cock full and hard in my palm as Rex gives me back some control. We stand forth together rubbing my cock against the wetness coating her lips, groaning as her scent becomes even more intense. It's like I'm living and breathing her in."Theo..." she moans moving against my cock finding friction against her clit as the head of my cock brushes past it once, twice... thrice. "This may hurt a little" I murmu
