May could hardly sleep all through the night as she could not stop thinking about Jared. She cannot believe that she was actually expecting him to come to her room at night to check up on her. She did not understand why she is having such thoughts and she wanted to get rid of them as soon as possible. She also could not stop thinking about the luxury she was in and how he managed to prepare all of this in such a short period of time. She keeps wondering why he is going to such lengths of all they are doing is just pretending. Even though he is a jerk, she can't help but think that he would be a good man to the woman he falls in love with. She suddenly started wishing that this would continue. Morning came and she woke up very early. In fact she was too early to wake up given the fact that she could hardly sleep all through the night. She got hungry a bit but could not press the bell because she felt awkward. She was also angry that Jared did not come check on her once. “Why can't I

The car stopped at the famous spot for couples which is a bit close to their university. May did not understand why she even chose this place when they are not a couple. She got there before she remembered what she has done. It's a surprise that Kevin did not complain when she chose that spot. That place only came to her mind because they have a garden that they could talk quietly with no disturbance. This will bring more focus for them discussing the project. “How did I even end up getting paired with him? I never get paired with the nerd so what happened?“ She thought inwardly. “We're here miss.“ Ronan said, stopping the car. She looked out the window, “Thanks.“One of the men who came in the car following them quickly came out to open the door for her. She rolled her eyes before getting outside. Why would Jared make it a big deal just because she's going out. At this rate, she will lose her freedom. “I can't believe this nonsense is happening to me right now.“ She muttered for

May went into her room still shaking in fear. She felt very embarrassed that she just gave out all of her secrets to him. This is the biggest secret that no one knows except for her best friend Kayla. Now she just told him out of fear and she's too embarrassed to come outside. She trembly sat down on the bed and took out a pack of cigarettes from her bag. She looked for her lighter around but could not find it. She realised that she could have dropped it before coming so this house. She has not been smoking since she came here and probably since they started interacting more. She kept thinking about what she felt the moment he came close to her full stop as much as she was trembling at that time, she also could not stop herself from wanting him. Why did her heart have to beat so loudly for someone that doesn't even like her? Isn't he just doing this so his parents will leave him alone? He's just using her after all so why won't she get him out of her head? “I can't do this. I despera

There's silence in the room as Jared stared at May in confusion. This kiss was mutual even though he started it, why would she suddenly slap him? May gasped, then moved back. She just acted on impulse and did not think about the consequences of her actions at all. “I… I want to be alone. Please get out. I won't be able to pack my things with you here. Jared wanted to say something but somehow he stopped himself from doing it. If she doesn't want him, there's no need to try so hard for it. He feels like now he is forcing her to do something that she doesn't want to do. “Fine. I don't know why you hate me and won't hear me out. I won't force you to stay anymore. You are free to go.“ He said, then made his way outside. May watched him leave, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her heart. What exactly is going on with her? Why does she feel sad that she is leaving him if this is exactly what she wants? She finally found her lighter when she rummaged through her other bag that she brough

Jared felt restless as he did not see May who has gone into the room with his sister for the past one hour. He wondered what they could be talking about so much. Even though he should ignore it and focus on his pending work, he can't help but feel curious. What would May want to know about him? Didn't she want to stay away from him? “I should check on those two. I can't believe they're still talking since. Since when did Stacey like people?“ He asked Matt who is busy working on the laptop. “We should be at the office by this time. But that can't be possible because you asked us to come home on time. So I am trying to fill in the pending works we have.“ Matt replied, looking frustrated. Jared scoffed, “Hey! I'm your boss you jerk. You should learn how to talk to me properly. What the hell?“ “I am sorry sir.“ Matt apologized and continued working on the laptop. Jared rolled his eyes, standing up. He made his way upstairs, to the bedroom where May and his sister are right now. He did
