REAH'S POV I watched Alpha Xavier enter his office and I felt an odd feeling within me. The hatred I saw in his eyes earlier was deeper than before, it was like he hated me more than ever and that made me very sad. I walked to the seat that seemed to be mine as a Secretary and sat on it. I looked at the desk in front of me, deep in thought and wondering what I was supposed to do first. Watching a drama to make up for the job was different from facing it in reality and I soon realized that. I opened the different files on the table, glancing through them but none of them seemed to make much sense to me. Probably because I had no idea what they were about and who they belonged to. Soon, I heard footsteps coming closer to me and I raised my head to see who it was only to see a young handsome man walking over to my desk. Without a doubt, I knew he was a werewolf as there was a particular aura around him that made him look like he wasn't human. He had a pleasant smile on his refreshin

REAH'S POV There was silence between us for a while as I started reading the book again but I realized my heart wasn't that settled. I looked at Xavier's office but I couldn't see inside no matter how hard I tried. He had closed off his windows!I let out a deep breath and looked toward Fryster who seemed to be working away on his laptop. "Does she always come here?" I found myself myself. "Jessie?" Fryster asked and I nodded. "She comes here almost every week. I even heard she pulled some strings to be cast as the female lead of the drama Alpha Xavier is in. So, she could be his partner." He explained. "Does she like him?" I felt a little scared while asking that question as it made me wonder if Jessie was the woman I was substituting for. Fryster nodded his head "She is obsessed over him but Alpha Xavier doesn't like her at all... Till now. He would always send her out of his office and even looked for ways to make me take her away. However, since they started working together,

REAH'S POV "Hey, Kate!" Fryster waved at the lady. I looked at her and formed a smile, I had no idea who any of them were but I knew they were employees of the company and looking at them, I felt like they were all humans. The men sat beside Fryster while the ladies sat around me, all of them were staring at me with curiosity in their eyes. It was obvious they wanted to know my identity. Noticing their gazes, Fryster dropped his spoon and chuckled "This is Reah Milla. The new Secretary, she resumed today," He explained. "Really? You are the new Secretary?" Kate asked excitedly and I nodded my head. "Are you human?" She asked softly. "I am," I replied and her eyes shone. "Then, how come you are so beautiful? Your beauty seems unreal..." She pointed out, looking at me incredulously. I laughed inwardly. It wasn't my first time hearing that. Many humans had asked me in the past if I were human and many werewolves already asked me if I used something to cover my scent. "I'm indeed

REAH'S POV "Wow! That's good news!" I said, forming a smile on my face while I felt guilty inwardly. I was supposed to be happy for her that she finally got a doctor who might be able to cure her but instead, I was so selfish that I wanted her to stay with me. I let out a deep breath, properly hiding my guilty feelings underneath my smile. Luna Bella took my hand in his, "The two or three months bothers me a lot. I wonder how you will be able to cope with someone like Xavier. It really bothers me," She lamented. "I've seen the way he looks at you. It seems as if he doesn't like you at all and I don't know what to do," She looked troubled. I was surprised to hear that she knew the truth. I had always thought Alpha Xavier pretended enough in front of her that she didn't realize the truth... "You knew?" I found myself asking again to be certain. She smiled bitterly and nodded "I found out from the day I told him to marry you. I knew he wasn't ready to but you are already carrying h

REAH'S POV The door opened and a doctor walked in, he seemed to be in his late forties and he already had white hairs on his head. He walked over to me and tested me. He nodded his head and turned around, but froze when he saw Alpha Xavier in the room. "Alpha, I had no idea you were here. I'm so sorry, Please forgive me, Alpha," The Doctor immediately bowed. Alpha Xavier's expression turned to a deep frown as he glared at the doctor "How is she?" He asked him a question instead. "She's fine now. She rested enough and her body will be fully healed if she takes the nutrients very well. I will remove the drips now and tomorrow morning, she will be discharged," The Doctor explained and turned around to remove the drip on me. Alpha Xavier nodded "Get out," He ordered the doctor who immediately raised his head and rushed out of the room. I watched the doctor close the door behind him and shake my head, I let out a deep breath and returned my gaze to the sky. "Do you know you missed sa
