Chapter 32"Good morning, sir," Caitlyn stood up and greeted as lawyer Bernard walked into her office. "Get ready. Chapter 31"Wow!" Caitlyn breathe out as she walked into Martin's home after he did. "It's so beautiful!" She complimented, her eyes roaming around. "...and huge!" She added. Martin couldn't help but smile. "C'mon, let's go to the kitchen. Help me with the bags," He said and began walking away, carrying four bags- two in each hand. Caitlyn hurriedly picked up the three bags she brought in and followed him, her eyes still wandering about. A heavy breath escaped her throat as they entered the kitchen. "Do you live here alone?" She blurted out, unable to keep the question in. The house looked too big for one person. "Well, not really. My gatekeeper and I share the building," He answered, placing the bags on the large table in the middle. "How?" Caitlyn muttered before trailing off. She thought the house was too big for just him. Chapter 30"Can I come in?" Kate asked her"Sure! Please, " Caitlyn responded and opened the door wider. "Your apartment is so warm! I love it," She commended as she looked around Caitlyn's room. Caitlyn smiled and drew out the chair facing her dressing table. "Take your seat," She told her, pointing to the single chair in the room. "Isn't yours like this?""Well, yeah. Not exactly, though. I just have a bed and my clothes in it. I recently left my parents' home to start my independent life," Kate replied with a small chuckle. "It truly can be quite hard at the start. Chapter 29"Sit," He said and pointed to one of the chairs opposite his. Caitlyn took her seat quietly. "Coffee?" He asked after taking his seat. Chapter 27It was a Saturday, and Caitlyn was at home. Bored and too lazy to cook, she lay curled up on her bed and shut her eyes.It was one of those days she wished she was at work.
