This would be me accepting the fact that the pack does not cover me anymore. On my entire stroll to the lake, all I wanted to think about were reasons that would be worth my staying alive, just one reason that would make me rethink my decision to end my life and want to find a reason, just one but as much as I searched on my mind and in my head, I could not find any. . . Absolutely nothing was worth it.

All because of money. At that point, I felt like killing myself. Because there was no other reason to live.

"Maybe next time, uncle. The restaurant is just a minute away already. Thanks though." I smiled back at the cab driver. "Then, I'll give you a one-minute piece of advice then!" he insisted. "Please, bear in mind that love will cause you more downs than ups. More sadness than happiness. But despite the million reasons to give up, always... And always find this one reason that's worth fighting for. Afraid of losing everything? Don't be. There are no permanent things in this world. All of us will pass either way. So, always choose the side that will make you happy. That's the purpose of life."

I remembered the lines which I told my sister once. Enough is enough. Everything happens for a reason. I don't need those pathetic people in my life. It's good that I got rid of em. There is a pen on the paper and it looks like someone purposely left a letter for me. Without thinking about who it is, I grab it and the handwriting catches my attention at first before I can read the first statement. Do not regret anything in life, it reads. Really? I say inwardly, wondering who left this here. I am curious to read till the end so I couldn't give it much thought. I stare back at the paper and start all over again. Do not regret anything in life. Because everything happens for a reason. There is always a reason for you to smile.
