"Oh, darling, I would love to, but our reservation at Six Seven is at one-thirty and the traffic near the water is going to be terrible. Let’s do the tour right after lunch, I promise. For now, get into the seat next to me and let's go."
"Alright," I smiled, letting go of my car door and walking around to the side of her vehicle.
I opened the door and climbed into the plush leather seat next to her. As the door clicked shut, we both turned to face each other.
Evelyn looked me up and down with a warm, discerning eye. "You are looking pale, darling, but gorgeous."
I smirked, adjusting my bag on my lap. "And you are looking extremely hot for an oldie, Eve."
