“You know,” Titan murmurs, his voice unusually quiet, “I waited so long for my mate that I almost convinced myself I never had one.” Maxine blinks. “What? How could that be? From everything you’ve told me—” “I know.” His gaze drifts away from hers. “But ever since I was a child… There were rumours.” A knot formed in Maxine’s stomach. “What kind of rumours?” For several seconds, Titan remains silent. His eyes lowered to the polished wooden desk between them. When he finally speaks, his voice is barely above a whisper. “A prophecy.”

Chapter 5: The Ultimate Hunt King Torvald Kane stood at the edge of the legendary Abyss of Titans, the wind howling around him like a lover’s desperate moan as he gazed into the glowing chasm said to house the Titan’s Gift, the single greatest cock in existence, a living embodiment of raw, ancient, virile power. Torvald had claimed warlords, orcs, giants, and mythical guardians, but nothing had ever fully satisfied the endless, burning hunger that consumed him day and night. This was the final hunt. The one that would either break him completely or finally make him whole.

Now, it was my turn. Titan Holdings had declared war. And I was ready for it.

Understood the threat. "It will reach the ritual site in six hours," he said through reality itself. "I can try to stop it, but I'm not sure I'm strong enough. The Titan is compressed nothingness from seven previous realities. It's entropy concentrated to impossible density. Fighting it means risking everything." I looked at my forces. Exhausted. Depleted. We'd been fighting for weeks without rest. But we had no choice. "All forces, converge on the ritual site," I commanded. "Every warrior. Every mage. Every resource we have. We stop that Titan or we lose everything."

The Titans, named after the old human mythology about the creatures who created the cosmos, are our creators. They are the dragons responsible for founding the courts and growing the seeds of our civilization. But my heart and mind are at war as I watch Nilla gleefully awaken the other Grand Elders.

"Fine," I growled, giving in about as gracefully as a bull in a china shop. "But I am not for sale, and neither is my body, Dant DiFronzo. I do not care how much blood money you have or how often you use it to get what you want.” "You will cook and clean for me."

The older sister scowled at the little one, who rolled her eyes and giggled in response. “Alette and Adelina.” Atlas motioned to the two sisters. The six-year-old, Adelina, flashed a dimpled smile at me while Alette gave me a wary glance. “This is my true-mate, Raelynn.” “Don’t mind Alette, she worry’s too much.” Adelina snorted, smiling at Atlas and I, much more intelligent than I would’ve pegged a six-year-old. “She’s Atlas’s true-mate Alette, you know she wouldn’t hurt us.”
