I had no idea when I slept but when I woke up I saw that we were surrounded by road. “Where are we now?” I blinked trying to understand my surroundings. “Look who decided to come awake, seven hours later.” “What? There’s no way it’s been that long?” “Don’t worry, we are almost at the hotel, I stopped for a refill.” “My poor baby,” I teased him, “you must have been bored to death while I was busy sleeping.” He shrugged one shoulder, glancing at me for one second,”you looked so angelic and peaceful sleeping, we are lucky we didn’t crash because I spent the whole time admiring your face baby girl.”

Freeda Adelaina Miller P.O.V With the loud noise coming from outside, I woke up in bed. I looked at the clock, it was already seven in the morning and I had to get ready. I'm just repeating the tedious thing to do. I just want to disappear suddenly. My eyes widened again to see the calendar. Realizing that I’ve been here for four months. It's unbelievable that I’ve survived this long in this place. I don't know if I will laugh or be sad. I've almost died a few times but maybe I'm a lucky person.

"Well I mean I've only known her seven hours", he paused turned to look at the time on his watch nodded, and then said, "Correction: I've only known her six hours", he turned to Ash, "Which makes it officially twenty-seven hours that I've been awake", he yawned sleepily. Ash stared at him shocked, "Which explains why you fell asleep a few seconds ago", he paused, "Hang on, TWENTY SEVEN HOURS!" he shrieked, "What the hell? What time did you wake up?" he asked practically screeching.

I woke at around four in the afternoon and groaned. It was the third time since being back at the academy. The first time I woke up, I'd been hoping that everything that happened last night had all been a dream. Then when I looked around the room, I realised there was no point in hoping. I was back and I was back for good. At least until I turned 18 which was a solid year and a half away.

I wondered where my teammates were. “Who are you?” My voice became rougher and deeper. He chuckled. “I’ve never thought this would be how we would meet each other again. You grew up.” He removed the hood and I almost crawled away. It was impossible for this man to stay alive. Everyone said he was dead. I remembered seeing him dead. “I know what you’ll say, that I was dead. I thought so too, until I woke up three years ago from my coma induced state. Sorry for taking this long to find you.”

Robert's voice choked up. He stumbled into the office, standing in front of William. He gazed at William's aged face, tears welling up in his eyes as he said, "I've been looking for you so many times over the past twenty years. But it's as if you vanished into thin air. I thought I would never see you again in my lifetime. Tell me, where have you been hiding all these years?" William sighed deeply, "Oh, how tumultuous my fate has been. I suffered from a severe illness and only woke up three years ago. Now, whenever I recall those hazy and confusing twenty years, it feels like a dream. Thankfully, this nightmare has come to an end."

“I lived another life, and I died.” I stumbled over my words and I felt my father freeze. A quick look to Ronnie had him locking the door and waving his hands. I felt the air still, but I was focused on my father’s eyes. “This morning I woke up six years in the past after living until I was twenty-four, and growing my own pup only to have my mate to rip him from my body.”

Seven days. I had been locked in this bedroom for exactly seven days. I counted the passage of time by the way the pale winter light shifted across the hardwood floorboards and disappeared behind the heavy curtains. Seven days had passed since the freezing rain. Seven days since his weight crushed me into the mattress, and the raw, agonizing scream tore out of my own throat. The sound proved my voice was not dead. It was alive, and the realization terrified me so deeply I had not made another sound since.
