Claimed By a Cold Alpha

Claimed By a Cold Alpha

But its thrill had subsided into something more sincere — that ‘Lily’ thing, that particular aspect of her vision that allowed her to look straight to the nucleus of something and pick her next word on that basis. “Are you staying for breakfast? ” Damien looked at me. I looked at Damien. “Yes,” I said. Because evidently that was the ruling. Lily smiled into her coffee. And Damien Voss, Alpha of the Coldridge Pack, three years of calculated isolation and flawless control — was sitted in my bunk kitchen at the table I’d scavenged from the street while my sister tossed him questions with cheerful precision and ate the eggs I’d made with no remark that I had burned one edge just a little and sip

Rejected by My Mate, Captured by a Dominating Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Captured by a Dominating Lycan King

Duncan served cucumber avocado Caprese salad as an appetizer, the main dish is Pesto chicken Florentine, and mango-lime sorbet with chunks of fresh mango for dessert. Caspian is sitting next to me during dinner. Between cucumber avocado salad and Pesto chicken Florentine, I feel his warm thigh pressed up against mine. The warmth sizzles even through the thin fabrics between our skin. Not long after I feel his hand on my knee. Then his hand slowly creeps down the inner side of my thigh. My toes curl. The whole room falls away as the heat spreads all over my body. "Don't you think so, Livana?" says mom, looking at me expectantly.

The Lycan King's Affection

The Lycan King's Affection

The servants at the corners waltzed towards the table and began dishing out the food. With practiced ease, the servants elegantly placed dishes on the table, and a tantalizing aroma soon filled the air, signaling the start of our meal. There were delicate servings of roasted chicken, drizzled with a savory sauce infused with herbs and spices, accompanied by colorful slices of roasted vegetables and golden potatoes seared to perfection. Sophia's eyes widened with curiosity as she inspected her plate before her gaze flicked to Collins's dish beside her. "Your meat looks different from mine, Collins," she remarked, her brow furrowing in confusion.

Luna Battle: The Game

Luna Battle: The Game

We laugh. "It says here that we both need to match but not to be the same, and we have to compliment each other and the table?" She sighs. "What colours do you like?" She looks at me. "How about we forget what colours we like, choose the style of dresses, what food, then choose the colours based on that?" She nods and continues to read. "So, hot or cold canapes?" I don't know which will be better. "Cold, it's outside; if we make something hot that needs to be eaten hot, it could go cold and then taste bad." She writes it down. "Wait, how about one that's food, one that's desert?"

This story really turned into something great as we get to know the main characters in the first story. The second half was so good. So love the continuation of the story with the next generation and new mates in part two. Part three just got started and I’m loving it. Definitely a good read!

My Feisty Wife: Baby, You're So Sweet

My Feisty Wife: Baby, You're So Sweet

His fingers were long, and his fingernails were neatly trimmed, which exuded an air of nobility. He neatly shelled a crab and picked out the crab roe, ready to dip it in the sauce. However, Daisy stopped him. "I don't eat spicy food!" "Hmm?" Sean paused, the corner of his mouth slightly raising with a low-key charm. "Why?" Before Daisy replied, he asked, "Are you on your period?" Feeling embarrassed, Daisy lowered her head and replied in a low voice, "Yes." Sean's face darkened immediately. "That's monkey business! You shouldn't have ordered crabs, which are of cold nature. You have symptoms of uterine coldness... Wait, tell them to change the dishes right now!"

Betrayed By The CEO: The Heiress Revenge.

Looking at the starters which were now cold, Rachel pouted her lips and sat down on her chair. “I can’t eat this, it’s cold already”. She complained to the waiter, who just smiled and explained. “Trust me ma’am when I say that they are good when they are cold”. Not believing his words, Rachel gave him a “Are you a serious look”. Which made him laugh because it was really funny the way she stared at him. “Sorry ma’am for that”. He quickly apologized for laughing . Waving her hands, Rachel brushed it off and replied, “it’s alright. So tell me, how does it taste when it’s cold? She asked him.

The author is putting so many characters in this book, and it took 5-6 chapters what happened in one day, not to mention 1-2 chapter in the bathroom (she takes a shower, body wash, shampoo etc which I think unnecessary because everyone know what happened in the bathroom)
Zammie
Dear readers, please don’t unlock the remaining three chapters with the title BLOCKED , it was mistakenly uploaded 4 times due to network issues. Vashti's Daughter

Vashti's Daughter

Although she had no idea how to pronounce most of the items on the menu, she ordered Khoresht-e Bademjan, an eggplant stew and a rice and green beans side dish called Loobia Polow, her mouth was watering with the anticipation of the arrival of her meal. Anna opened a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. That she definitely was familiar with. While waiting for the food to arrive, she picked up the first envelope in the pile, opened it, read the synopsis, and returned the rest of the pages. Another rejection she would have to make, she thought. Three more packages, three more of the same response. At this rate, she was going to be on the phone most of the next day, disappointing a lot of her closest

To Be A Duchess

To Be A Duchess

After telling him that I would like to wear something light, he began searching in my dressers while I stared outside and ate my breakfast before it had gone cold. The omelette and green peas were nice, as well as the slices of peaches. The Guillemore Village must have had an early harvest this year, judging by how the taste and texture was similar to what I tasted when I dined with them during one of my visits. Wasting no time, I tasted the cold tea drink, and it was satisfactory. More than satisfactory even as the coldness of the drink was able to quench my thirst and offer some coolness inside me. It was something new, something that is outside of my usual routine. I can say that this new

The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

Lily was basking in the happy glow of her engagement and Sophie was happily listening and offering ideas. Wrapping her robe tightly around her she quickly tripped down the servants staircase to the kitchen, holding her oil lamp. Silently she grabbed a bottle of brandy and some glasses. In the darkness of the kitchens the glasses clinked together merrily. She was so caught up in the joy of Lily's happy news a smile danced across her face despite the late hour. "Brandy and glasses? It appears you are celebrating," a dark and bitter voice said from the kitchen doorway.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)
Miley
Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!

Please don't touch me

Please don't touch me

Originally, Calliope thought she would be able to eat delicious dishes, never expecting that it was all just a fantasy. The first was boiled vegetables, which couldn't be more popular, and then the braised pork, although it looked delicious, it couldn't compare to lobster. When Calliope looked in Riffen's direction, she sensed again that something was wrong in the air between him and the servant girl. The look in that Doris's eyes was a little bit of questioning, a little bit of anticipation. Anyway, it was completely different from the way Riffen looked at Calliope.
