CHAPTER 22 /NATHAN/ The morning sun streamed through the bare windows of my living room, lighting up the dust motes hovering over my cardboard boxes. The apartment looked completely different from how it did a month ago. The posters were rolled up, the kitchen counters were entirely wiped down, and everything I owned was taped up inside brown boxes. In two days, I was moving to Silicon Valley to start my position at SiporaTech.

Andrew I stepped into the small empty circle of her tiny apartment, the size of one-fourth of my bathroom, and looked around. The place, aside from the cramped-up space, looked decent enough. She had a tiny bed, a reading table with books piled on it, a tiny wardrobe, a door leading to a tiny kitchen, another door leading to what I believe should be a tiny restroom. Yes. Everything was tiny. I turned and looked at her still leaning on the door, taking in deep, calming breaths.

I was so surprised to find out I had an A. English was the only subject I had struggled to get an A for weeks now . It was either a B or C . The smile on my face was second to none. I was still staring at my script when Mr Richard announced that he was giving us a break for 30 mins. He walked out of the class leaving those who were rejoicing rejoicing and those who were mad mad.

"Sorry, Leena, I just need a little personal space at the moment. I don't mean that in you going away, I just can't have any touch right now." She doesn't look the least bit upset right now, despite being pushed away. She steps back to allow me space up and grabs a towel and hands it to me before walking out of the chambers completely.
