Abandoned at the Peak

Abandoned at the Peak

Silver Pendantdelirium oliver novel
In the end, I had to compromise by leaving Gerard a voice message that he must wake me up when he reached home so that I could heat dinner up for him. Now that I thought about it, I sure was pathetic when I was still alive. My parents were still waiting for the news of my impending rescue at the base camp. They had gone through the day without food, so they looked extremely pale and weak at the moment. They supported each other as they stood where they were. Their figures were so frail and thin that a gust of wind could easily blow them off their feet. "Please, Gerard! We're begging you! Please take your men and go look for Elly! She must be very scared right now!"

THE PILOT'S EX WIFE

THE PILOT'S EX WIFE

Where the streets were muddy, the buildings were abandoned and the people cried without hope. In a quiet area, where the asphalt ended and the dirt roads began, there was an abandoned warehouse. It was an unfinished building, with exposed bricks and half-built pillars. The warehouse smelled of insanity. Dust had taken over the four corners of the place, and everything there was abandoned. There were crates at the ends of the warehouse, covered by a dark, dirty tarp. Spencer Davis stood in the shed, sitting in a chair almost as old as the one in his office. Behind the man, Agent Colton stood. They were both armed, but only Colton's pistols were exposed in the holster on his leg.

Abandoned On the Highway for a Dog

Abandoned On the Highway for a Dog

“It’s New Year’s Eve, and you’re wandering around instead of coming home to cook. Where else would you even go?” Yvonne’s mom chimed in, “I told her she shouldn’t marry a pampered rich kid. Look at him, can’t even handle household chores.” “We nearly starved on New Year’s Eve! Life’s so unfair!” “At least Evan was thoughtful and bought me some fruit to tide me over.” Even the little stray dog they picked up at the toll booth was running around my house, leaving paw prints everywhere. Evan grinned at me. “Now that you’re back, Charles, get cooking! Everyone’s starving.”

My mate is my brother-in-law and the alpha

My mate is my brother-in-law and the alpha

“She deserves a show.” Amelia’s eyes gleamed. “Oh, trust me. It’s going to be fun.” The bell rang, signaling the end of class, but Amelia barely heard it. She was already planning her next move. … Later that night, the trio gathered in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Vanderwilson territory. The place reeked of rust and decay, the walls lined with dust-covered shelves and forgotten crates. It was the perfect place to plan a murder. “She’s not in Vanderwilson,” Lee said, balancing a knife between her fingers. “Luis either.”

A Year to Heal: The Nurse and the Millionaire

A Year to Heal: The Nurse and the Millionaire

Ethan spoke up, and Amelia motioned to grab her bag, but the housekeeper beat her to it. " I'll take it, don't worry. " The woman spoke and Amelia nodded, even more so when she noticed her compassionate smile. Amelia was about to leave the room when she heard Alexander move in his chair and light another cigarette. " Whatever you are hiding, it can't be any worse than this pathetic life. " Amelia and Ethan listened to him speak. Amy took a deep breath, remembering all the shit that led her to that place, all the scars, and the man she abandoned in Charleston on her wedding day.

Abandoned

Abandoned

I explain, and she glances toward Jali before looking back at me. "What did you have," she asks, and a million answers zip through my head as I stare at her. I had some sickness that caused blood to spew from my mouth, but I was never allowed to have a physician look me over. I had an abusive father and a fantastic mother. I had two brothers who wanted me dead....I..had...my eyes fall to the table as my heartbeat becomes almost painful. "I don't want to talk about that anymore. I'm not sick now, and I want to move on," I whisper, and I can sense her discomfort as she looks away from me quickly.

THE ABANDONED WIFE

THE ABANDONED WIFE

She had just made a call, her voice low and urgent: "Target acquired. Vehicle pursuit initiated. White van, heading east on University Drive. Requesting backup, immediate response." Amelia sprinted to her unmarked car, parked a block away, her heart pounding. She knew this wasn't just about catching a criminal anymore. It was about saving Megan. And Lizbeth, oblivious to the tightening noose, sped off, convinced her plan was flawless, unaware that the net was already closing.

LOVE HIS ENEMY: My Husband's Downfall

LOVE HIS ENEMY: My Husband's Downfall

“What brings you gentlemen here today?” Adams takes a seat, but Wilde stays standing, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. “We wanted to ask you a few questions about your wife, Elizabeth Bell,” Adams begins. I nod, playing my part perfectly. “Of course. What about her?” Adams pulls out a small notebook and flips it open. “Earlier today, we recovered her car at the waterfront. It was abandoned.” The words tingle my guilt, but I keep my face impassive. “Abandoned?” I repeat, my voice laced with genuine-sounding surprise.

These stories are amazing. Looking for an update. It appears, after reading the comments that the book is finished and the author hasn’t updated since three months ago. Please let us know when to expect an update of your plan of Willow’s story. I understand we all have a life. Peace. ...️

I enjoyed the story, but it needs a lot of clean-up work. And I stress A LOT OF CLEAN-UP WORK! There were a lot of wrong characters placed, where it should have been someone else that the writer should have been talking about. A lot of paragraphs do not make much sense. I have more, not enough space
