Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, I looked out at the apartment building in the distance. Flames were shooting into the sky, and faint screams carried through the air. Linda and Tyler had hidden from the zombies by climbing into a dumpster downstairs. They were curled up in the reeking trash, shivering as they fought over half a moldy bread roll someone had thrown away. Meanwhile, I took a sip of hot soup, warmth spreading through my whole body. This was what apocalypse life was supposed to feel like. Over the next three days, I followed Duke’s guidance and swept up supplies from nearly half the city.

Most of the supplies in his apartment had been purchased online beforehand. He had risked his life gathering more during the typhoon, but nobody could predict how long the disasters would continue.

It’s about noon and Zane is walking down a highway littered with decaying cars. As he approached a nearby city, most of the cars had cracked or broken windshields. Sometimes he saw the odd humvee or a tank, they made great shelters for nighttime. This is the western apocalypse and it has been hell. He is about 5 '7 with long blonde hair blowing in the wind, a sturdy build, blue eyes with a narrow face, He wears a trench coat to stay warm and has a backpack of limited supplies. He travels alone mostly, at the start he traveled in groups of survivors of twenty to thirty people but they all succumbed to becoming food of the Pales.

She asked. "As far as we know, those are no more people. They are zombies" I said. "We are all gonna die," She said as she sank her butts on the couch. "Not if we stay inside," Ambrose said. "For how damn long?" She asked. "Well... till they find a solution probably," I said. "See, I've watched a lot of Zombie movies, and most of those movies ended without getting a cure!" Hannah said. "My parents are in Florida, I have no idea if they're fine" She muttered.

Because of this, the number of mutated humans running for their lives and hiding in this land that were being infected and becoming zombies was steadily increasing. Kendra had never encountered a zombie, but her aunt had schooled her on them enough for her to know that they were a dangerous lot. There were zombies at various levels of deformities to their bodies; depending upon whether they were mutants when they turned or simply unfortunate humans. Since they were considered to be death walking, she had difficulty understanding how or why they would become cannibals. Why would they have a need to eat at all? It was a mystery that no one was able to explain to her. What they were careful

I lifted my head to see what happened to Apocalypse. To my surprise was there a big hole in the ceiling and lots of debris and rubble mixed with wooden beams. I got up and walked over to what was over of the ceiling. I heard some groans coming from under the debris. Apocalypse was barely alive and stuck under big stone pieces and wooden beams. “You have to do better and more than this to stop me, you pathetic woman.” She coughed and spitted a clot of blood.

Not when it could be easily prevented. She liked her new life of not worrying about the zombies and being pampered. But rolling over, she felt tears form in her eyes. She still missed her friends and couldn't help but worry about them. Just months ago she was eating cold beans in the middle of the woods and now she's laying in a grand bed with a vampire king. This just shouldn't be happening. Not to her, anyway.

I've never seen someone survive that long. "You're not talking" Austin said and realize he's becoming scared by my reactions. "I'm sorry, but I haven't seen someone survive a bite for that long" I replied "The virus runs within the system for just thirty minutes, after which the host dies and returns back as...." I swallowed the word zombie, it was difficult to accept the fact that they're zombies. " Then that means she can still survive it?" He asked eagerly with an atom of hope sounding in his voice "I really don't know, but we still have a chance" I replied.
