Campus of the undead

Campus of the undead

one muttered. Inside the campus, the scene was eerily familiar. Broken glass littered the ground, papers fluttered in the breeze, and the faint stench of decay clung to the air. The first wave of zombies appeared almost immediately, their guttural groans cutting through the silence. Luke and Bayo didn’t hesitate. Bayo wielded a makeshift weapon—a sturdy metal pipe he had found earlier—and swung it with precision. Each strike connected with a sickening crunch, sending the undead to the ground.

Reborn with the Promiscuity System: Good Girl No More

Reborn with the Promiscuity System: Good Girl No More

If this guy is really that damn bastard who kidnapped Misty, I'll have him killed and fed to the sharks in the ocean. The vow was quite poisonous. However, given what her best friend went through due to this person, she deemed the idea a very matter of fact one. There was a high likelihood that a fight would still break out. Agatha prepared herself for that scenario. She, of course, wanted to win as there were people waiting for her in her home city. "This place is in the deepest part of the base. This is the main base by the way. You would have been lucky and not be discovered since the place where you spawned was quite an unmanned one. Only zombies created from a low-level virus patrolled

One In A Million

One In A Million

December 24, 2050 - Alice Springs Airport, Australia Rosella Marie Hawl's Point of View It's been hours since we landed in Alice Springs Airport, still in Australia. This country is the safest place of all since they only have a small rate of zombies here. So, dad decided to bring every survivor here, and make Alice Springs Airport our quarters since this place too, don't have a lot of damage since every zombie were out there, on the streets. The explosions wreaked havoc in every city in the whole world. Buildings collapsed, streets were messed with debris, and cars, footbridges, bridges, and public facilities collapsed as well, everything is a mess.

Zion

Zion

ZION I strolled into the house, my dad already busy correcting the blueprints of the house according to my mom's wishes. My mom was at the hospital, the only hospital this town had. It wasn't really busy there. In the small town, hardly anyone became sick or met into accidents. It was weird in a way. My mom was the one who took care of Brady that day. I tried my best not to think about the situation so she wouldn't know it was me who did that to him.

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

Zombies Be My Wrath

Zombies Be My Wrath

I survived the most dangerous and chaotic first three months of the zombie virus outbreak. One morning, the roar of helicopter blades came through the bunker's external microphones, followed by a military loudspeaker broadcast. "Attention all survivors. This is the Southwest Rescue Command rescue team. We have established a safe base. Survivors who hear this broadcast, proceed to the designated assembly point..." I stood up, took off my comfortable loungewear, changed into a black tactical gear and put on a stab-resistant vest. I slid two combat knives into my tactical boots and slung a cocked compound crossbow over my back.

Reborn: Romance in the Apocalypse

Reborn: Romance in the Apocalypse

Narrowing her eyes, she asked, "Zayla, he's the one who saved you? But I heard that after the first rescue team left Zone A, the zombies went into a frenzy. By the time the second team arrived, no one who had been left behind in Zone A had survived. How did you make it out?" I wasn't entirely sure what she was getting at. Shrugging, I said, "Does it matter? I'm alive. That's enough." "Of course it matters. The virus wasn't even in Zone A before, and then suddenly, right after you announced your engagement, the outbreak started? A little too convenient, don't you think?" She let the implication hang in the air before adding, "The apocalypse is beyond our control, but we can't rule out the pos

The Apocalypse Hoarder

The Apocalypse Hoarder

He did what had to be done. After clearing the two surface floors, he followed Vincent's earlier directions and found the basement entrance. He went down. Unlike the upper levels, the two underground floors existed solely for survival after the apocalypse. The first basement level resembled the interior of a spaceship. Eight independent rooms lined the area, each sealed by a heavy alloy door. None of them had keyholes. Cyrus assumed they relied on keycards, retinal scans, or similar systems. He spent a long time testing them, but every attempt failed.

Dawn

Dawn

Eden tremblingly told Farrah. “What? L City Base? How?” Eden shook her head many times. “There's no concrete information for now. But based on the recovered footage, a tide of zombies suddenly attacked the base. No one foresaw this, and they were caught off guard.” Bases are categorized into three categories. First low-risk. Low-risk are those bases with high defense/protection mechanism. It's usually big and enourmous bases. Second, Mid-risk. With defense mechanism but still vulnerable to powerful attacks. Such example of this is B City Base, who's not big but definitely not a small base. Lastly, High-risk bases. L City Base is included in one of the high-risk bases against powerful zombie

Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

If Ruth consumes blood, it might awaken her zombie instincts! [Dan’s group just had a tire blowout. They’re surrounded by a zombie horde right now. Callie pushed Dan out to stall the zombies so she could escape!] When I saw that comment, I couldn’t help but laugh. “What are you laughing at?” Ruth tilted her head and looked at me. “Nothing,” I said, hugging her arm and planting a kiss on her cheek. “I just think… the weather’s really nice today.” For the next month, I lived the most comfortable life I’d had since the apocalypse began. Ruth and I occupied a villa complex halfway up a mountain. It was easy to defend and hard to attack, and supplies were plentiful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Surviving a zombie apocalypse isn't just about brute force—it's about strategy, adaptability, and a bit of luck. First, securing a safe location is crucial. I’d look for somewhere with solid walls, like a school or a warehouse, preferably with access to rooftop spaces for visibility. Fortifying entry points with barricades and setting up early warning systems (think cans on strings or motion sensors) could buy precious time. Then, there’s the matter of supplies. Non-perishable food, water purification tablets, and medical kits are non-negotiables. But here’s the thing people forget: boredom kills morale. Packing a deck of cards or a few books might seem trivial, but mental health is survival, too.

Next, community matters. Lone wolves don’t last long in 'The Walking Dead' for a reason. Trusting the wrong people is risky, but isolation is riskier. I’d scout for survivors with complementary skills—maybe a nurse, a mechanic, or someone who can cook creatively from canned beans. And weapons? Guns are loud and ammo runs out. A good machete or a crossbow is quieter and reusable. Finally, always have an exit plan. Zombies aren’t the only threat; human factions can be worse. Staying mobile, knowing alternate routes, and never getting too comfortable could mean the difference between becoming a statistic or a legend.
