It was the annual Academic Exchange—a week where Aldrich Academy’s top students crossed the valley to "collaborate." In reality, it was just a show off between two academies. ​I adjusted my collar, the skin of my neck feeling weird. Without the binder, I had layered two t-shirts under my uniform blazer, but I still felt like a beacon. Every time a breeze caught my clothes, I froze.

The next morning, Theodore and Gad took their breakfast and set out for the academy. The academy was a five minutes walk from the palace. They could have simply teleported there but Theodore didn't know how to teleport yet so they had to walk. "What class do we have first?" Theodore asked Gad. "History of demons." Gad said wearily, he hated this class because it was boring. "Really? I can't wait" Theodore said excitedly. "You are the only demon I have met who is excited about this class. It's just a repetition of things we all know."

The Academy was the safest place for her. The academy? Draven laughed. Isn’t that where all the rogue, unruly, goddess-forsaken girls go? But she had someone who watched over her. The academy, renowned for its strict training and protective environment, serves as a sanctuary for rogue girls, shielding them from the dangers that lurk in our world. It balanced discipline with safeguarding, essential for those who needed to learn. Now we need to focus on more important matters—the company. I need to bury myself in work to forget what just happened.
