His eyes were red as he walked out of the car. The ground was wet and there were puddles at every step. Algard walked through the thorny trees, the deeper he went, the denser the trees became. And from afar Algards eye caught a glips of something bright, there were lights in a distance. He knew that it was the warehouse. He fastened his pace and ran over towards it.

"Tonight marks your true beginning." Theodore's grip on Clover's arm tightens imperceptibly. He's gambled everything on this night going according to his plans, yet the Alpha's cryptic words send a chill of foreboding through him. The assembled pack parts like water as they make their way toward the ceremonial grounds. Lanterns illuminate the ancient path, casting dancing shadows across faces both friendly and hostile. Peter watches from the edge of the gathering, his formal attire immaculate, but his eyes turbulent with unspoken emotions.

Light concerns. I nodded my head in understatement but I was shivering in pain. The pain in my heart is excrutiating out but I was keeping it back. Not showing anyone how weak i am from the inside. “Are you okay? You haven't replied.” Light asks worriedly. “I am sorry, I was distracted. What were you saying?” I apologize. “I think we should try this once you clarify your doubts. I hope it will work with you?” Light suggests.

Out of nowhere, his hand cracked across my face. "Claire, remember who you're dealing with. I'm the Alpha of this pack! "You're nothing but an Omega. Without me, you're nothing!" I could not help but laugh, staring right back at him. His face was beet red, eyes burning holes into me. "Leaving me is going to hurt your wolf, you know that, right?" His kindness was always just for show. It was a good thing I was ready for that. I pulled away from him, slow but sure, and told him straight.

My face colored and I looked away shyly. "No need to be shy, Luna. We all have that one man we will never be able to resist." She said and I smiled. She dangled a set of car keys in front of me, "C'mon, I promised your friend that I'll drop you off at your house." Willow led me out of the house and to a garage. We got in an Audi and she started the car. She drove according to my directions and in half an hour we were at my house. It was a very quiet ride which I was okay with.

The pillows are amazing too, heavenly, even. With a heavy sigh, I push the comforter off my tired body and swing my feet off the bed slowly. Not far from the bed is a light switch, so I take a few steady steps toward it and flick it on. The the light is so bright, I'm blinded for a couple moments, but when I can actually bare the light, I notice a door a few feet away. I hurry over to it with my hand supporting the small baby bump I have and jiggle the knob desperately. Locked, of course.

The building's silhouettes suddenly became the dark night sky and the lights from their windows suddenly were twinkling. "Isn't that beautiful?" I asked when I saw a broken stoplight, the red light was blinking and the green and yellow once didn't seem to work. I thought it was aesthetically pleasing, under the gloom of the night, along the empty streets and silently passing cars. The slow blinking of that stop light seemed to harmonize with the quietness of the evening. I looked at Edgar and he was frowning at the stop light. "Pretty much could cause traffic, goodness, that should be fixed," he said and I rolled my eyes at him.

The lights go out. Fuck!
