I brushed my long curly silver hair over my shoulder and looked at him. He was a Cambion; he had medium-length black hair. His eyes were red as fire, and he was tall, at least 6′1; he wasn't muscular, but he was fit with just the right amount of muscles with pale skin. His tight black shirt stuck to his body, and his dark blue jeans hung around his waist. "The usual," I stated. "And please, Tiron, don't call me Princess," I added.

My patience was already wearing thin. Deep down I knew that if the CCTV footage showed anything that I expected, and Alicia was still alive… it would change everything. Everything that I wanted and that I had planned for this year entirely. I was ushered into another room with the monitors I needed. I sat down while the man simpered over me. “Would you like a drink? Maybe some champagne? I have an aged whiskey in my office.” The man prattled before standing straight. “Keagen! Bring the bottle of whiskey from my office!” he ordered.

King just laughed, gesturing for him to follow as he advanced his way out. Just like King said, it wasn't too sunny outside. King removed his shirt, and Kane did the same. They swam in the cold water to their heart's content. "Do we have liquor in stock?" Kane suddenly asked. "Yeah, want to take some booze to pass the time?" Kane just smirked and splashed water at King before rising from the seawater. He went straight to the veranda table and waited for King to fetch the alcohol. He saw King coming in and out of the house quickly, holding a case of beer.

I had asked her to have someone bring us a few beers, and she promised cocktails, which she delivers now, with her assistant. Jax takes one long pull from his glass then slams the glass down like he’s declaring war. “Kingston, you secretive bastard,” he gasps. “You’ve been holding out on us. This drink is illegal in at least three regions. What is in this?”

The bloodsworn’s lips curve faintly. The King gestures toward the seating area. “A drink, perhaps?” I nod once. Damon moves immediately. He takes the bottle from the cabinet and pours two glasses of bourbon with practiced ease. Then, after a deliberate, unmistakable pause, he pours a third. For himself. The King arches a brow in clear disbelief. And Damon ignores it completely. For the drama, his expression says plainly, a hint of anticipation lighting his eyes. He hands us our drinks, then seats himself a little distance away, close enough to hear every word, far enough to remain an observer rather than a participant.

"Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam, Jameson, Crown Royal, Maker's Mark, do you want me to list more?" Raine asked. "Nah, that'll do. Dress code is tank top and shorts." Jax smirked. "When do I start?" As we were growing, James was well known for his intelligence and ability to give proper advice. “Come in bro” I Shaked him in excitement. James sat on a sofa facing me. “Care for whiskey?” I asked “Sure!” James responded. I moved to the drink's rack, brought out a bottle of whiskey and two glass cups. Gently I opened the bottle and poured out the drink on the glasses. James then grabbed one In excitement. “Arrg” James exclaimed, dropping the glass on the center table. Deep down, my spirit wasn't present, all I thought about was Vera. I wore a sad face and I couldn't hide it.
