“This is for you!” Roseanne has been feeling sad for the past few days because she is missing her father who is travelling with the Emperor. Alexei noticed how miserable she was and he took permission from his mother to pick a flower for her. “Thank you, Alexei!” Roseanne happily chirps. “I will always keep it with me!” She clutches the rose to her heart, smiling widely. Her smile is so bright and wide that Alexei raises his finger to poke a corner of her lips.

Of course I wanted his number then I replied, "What is your name?" I sat my phone down so I could dry off and get dressed. Then like clock work another ping from I*******m. He asked, "What is your name beautiful?" I began to blush then replied. "My name is Elisabeth Rose Freeman ,but everyone calls me Beth", I messaged back. He then replied, "Vladius Lee Sinclair, nice to meet you Beth". I then in return sent my number to him. I finished getting ready for the day. I was planning on cleaning up my dorm room.

Her voice was too smooth. I looked at the chest. “What’s inside?” I asked. “A charm for protection, Princess.” She answered. I felt Roses stir at my hip, wrapped against me in her sling. Her tiny fists clenched as if she knew something I didn’t. A faint glow around my neck gave a faint pulse, like a heartbeat answering hers. I was told it was a pearl and it could pulse anywhere in my body. Mara stepped forward. Too close. And then, Roses cried. Not a soft whimper but a shrill, panicked scream. The pearl flared, white-hot light spilling from it, so bright Mara hissed and dropped the chest.

… When the delivery person brought the flowers, they shouted, "I'm here for Alice! Your roses are here!" Alice raised her head high and jogged toward the delivery person. "That's me!" She took the large bouquet of roses from the delivery person and sniffed at it deeply to show off. "It smells so nice." Her coworkers gathered around. "Who sent them?" "My good friend, Aralyn!" Joanna also saw the flowers in Alice's hands—they were much larger and obviously much more expensive than hers. She grumbled, "It's not even from a man. Why are you so proud of it?"

"She deserved it! She was so terrified with the rabid dogs barking all around her, even sending a voice message where she was crying so pathetically!" Hearing that, my departed soul turned away, smiling miserably. He was the one who had said he loved me, promising to protect me for the rest of my life and vowing that no one would get to lay a finger on me. He had smiled at me so lovingly when he passed me the black rose seeds. "It is believed that black roses embody a deep and timeless love, just like the love I share with you." Yet, he had a change of heart and loved Lara instead, believing her one-sided claims that I had led a workplace ostracising campaign against her.

Her growl was deafening and I knew the entire pack could feel her aura. “I don't know who you are or care but one thing you won't do is come here and talk shit about the people I love, do you understand me?!” She took a step forward with every word and Rose took one back until she hit the wall and Alari stood in front of her. “Y.. yes Alpha” she stuttered, exposing her neck to my mate, submitting to her. Alari growled in her face before stepping back. And it was quite comical to watch, Rose was 6’ tall and Alari was 5’7 but she felt taller than even me right now.

A looked crossed his eyes,but it went away as quickly as it came, and soon he was looking at me amused again. "Of course, I didn't anticipate finding raunchy books in a sweet girl's bag, you're definitely right. Noted, I'm never doing that again." I scowled and he smirked. "So Rosie?" He asked, I couldn't help it, I rolled my eyes at that, rubbing at my temples. "No, my name's Rosette, not Rosie. That's childish." "Okay, so Rose. Well that's a pretty name for a very pretty girl, as cliché as it sounds, it's the truth, you're a pretty little flower." And the blush that was barely receding was back again.

“Friends and families discount.” Ollie paid the florist and then put the box of lilies inside his backpack before he plucked a single red rose from one of the shelves to his left. “Here.” He placed the rose in my hand. “It matches your hair.” Then Ollie turned around and walked toward the door without waiting for me while I stood there with my cheeks turning the same shade of red as the rose in my hand.

“I put on make-up, not really good at it but I’m quite decent if I say so myself.” Krister could only nod his head as Rojean had left already to the walk-in closet to change before grabbing Sei’s mask on the table, his eyebrows furrowing. She came out with a different bag than what Krister intended for her to use, from a black to a red one. “This bag is cuter, I want this more. It still goes with the outfit anyway.” she said, feeling as if there was something lacking in her appearance. She blocked out her mind and her face dropped the expressions it had before walking towards Krister. “Now?”
