I confessed, my voice was soft that sounded like a whisper. The Alpha King wore a heavy velvet tunic the color of spilled wine, trimmed at the collar and cuffs with thick, dark fur. Across his broad shoulders hung a sweeping ceremonial cloak of midnight black, held together by a heavy gold clasp shaped like a roaring wolf. His leather doublet was intricately embossed with gold thread, and thick, polished leather boots rose to his knees. Corvin stood there barefoot, gray hair tied back, leather vest hanging open over skin inked with symbols I didn’t recognize and didn’t like. I chuckled at that because it's just so hurt. Kurt is a crazy sweet guy. I can't wait till he finds his mate. She's going to love him and I know for sure he will treat her like a queen. Kurt is funny and may act really stupid at times, but when it comes to life-threatening situations and stuff with the pack. He's a completely different guy. I like that fact though.
