I folded the drawing again and slipped it beneath my pillow and then I closed my eyes and made a wish. Not on a birthday candle, not on a falling star. Just in my head, quiet and real. The girls agreed and chanted the magic words under the full moon, waiting for the book to open. They waited and waited but nothing was happening. "I told you it was nothing but a myth we…" Alice was cut short by Alicia's scream. "Oh gracious goddess! Alice, look at that!" Alice's face was greeted by the bright rays of light that emanated from the book. "Sacred book, take us to wonderland." Alice was yet to get over the shock of the book opening, when she suddenly found herself in a place that looked nothing like the vampire or wolf world. "Wow!" Alicia gushed over the scenery.

“And get a chance to dine with the Mad Hatter? Drink tea with the Hare? Hells yes. I’ll even take the Vorpal blade and slay the Jabberwocky with it. Off with his head!” Alice laughed aloud. “I had no idea you’d read the books.” “Books? There are books as in plural?” “Yes, dumbo, there’s a sequel called Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There,” she said, punching my waist playfully as we walked. “I see. I see. So where would our Alice want to travel next?” I asked eagerly. “Somewhere where she can be alone with you and have her way with you,” she said slyly, squeezing my butt.

A dim smile lit up the world when Alice sat on the wooded bench that had been her favorite all along. Memories assaulted her mind at the mere instant she saw a couple in front of her. They were young as well. She smiled proudly at him and he, Alice could have said the same of him but maybe, in the same way as her, the girl was living in a lie. ‘ “Close your eyes and tell me, what flavor is this?” asked Gabriel, smilingly. Alice obeyed his orders. The same game over and over. Then, she felt a pair of hands on the back of her head. She couldn't help but giggle while the way to his lips shortened without realizing.
