Both Peri and her advisor Aidan were worried and they assured themselves to just let it be a secret as they appoint her youngest daughter, Saria, as the Fairy mother. "Mother!" A young fairy was approaching. Saria was a fine young fairy with eyes like sunlight and hair blonde. She was slim-built and considerably tall for someone her age.

The unknown fairies were sylphs; air fairies with delicate wings rising from their shoulders. One female and one male. The woman had bright golden hair while the male's tresses were slightly darker. The Twilight Court went silent as the sylphs made their way down the center aisle and then stopped before us.

"What are those?" Aurora smiled. "These are the fall fairies. They have come to change the leaves." Sure enough as they watched. The leaves on the trees lit up. Before their eyes the foliage changed from shades of green, pink or purple to bright red, orange, yellow or even brown. Even the grass glowed and turned from a luscious green to a flaxen gold. The fairies made quick work of the plants as they came close to the humans. Their energy was mesmerizing. Aurora stood up and held out her hand. A single little firefly landed on her fingers and transformed into a creature resembling a tiny woman with wings. "Hello," Aurora greeted, dipping her head to show respect.

The handmaid fell down to the ground without a single noise. Queen Floral noticed her handmaid wasn't breathing and she glared at the lady in front of her. "Who the hell are you? Do you know who I am? I am Floral, the Queen of the Fairies, I will make you Guards!!" Queen Flora shouted standing up from her bed. "Don't waste your energy Floral, no guards will come here, they can't hear you." Ariel/ River said with a smirk. She raised her hand and fired a fireball at Ariel/ River who waved it away with her hand to one side before the fire dispersed.

To say I was in shock was beyond an understatement. A minute later several small creatures came in and immediately put out the fire. They thoroughly cleaned everything up as if it hadn’t happened. I looked at my dad with a questioning face. “There are varying types of fairies. Brownies, sprites, elves, gnomes, pixies, nymphs, selkies. Some have to do tasks or they get assigned to watch over someone as a godmother. They have to accomplish their tasks to move on to the next phase of their existence, some become angels, some fallen fairies are demons,” my dad whispered.

The fairy said with a soft smile. "It's not safe for me to be here." I managed to say. The fairy beamed her eyes the shade of the rainbow. "I know what you are, I know your fate but I still want to help you. I found you almost dead in the stream." she said applying herbs on my injuries, her fairy braids moved with grace around her hips. The herbs smelled an awful lot like weed, that was probably one of the things causing me to see things like the rainbow. "It's no wonder the alpha's are obsessed with you, even an angel would fall for such a face." the fairy praised me

Annie knocked on the door, carrying a cup of God knows what. “What do you have there?” Lyon asked the maid who held a cup that was steaming hot. “Ginger ale, Alpha,” “Wait,” Lyon held my hands as I was about to collect it from her. “Taste it first before Livia drinks it,” He ordered her, immediately the maid grabbed a small cup from the mini fridge and poured a little amount into it, she gulped it down and glared at Lyon. “I would never hurt the future Luna, Alpha Lyon,” Annie swallowed, as though she felt unappreciated for scooping in the ginger ale without anyone knowing.

None of us noticed the fairy trying to speak, until her shriek cut through us like a blade. “Now that I have your attention, shut up!” her tiny voice exploded with such force it silenced everything. We froze, turning toward her. “I’m a fairy!” she snapped, arms crossed as her wings quivered with fury. Then, regaining her composure, her tone softened just slightly, though her glare remained sharp. “A few moons ago, an Alpha came here and took our Alpha. With the Heartstone gone, all the magical creatures, everyone, shifted into human form.” My stomach dropped. “Xareth?” I asked, though I already knew the answer.
