Beep! Beep!! Beep!! Beep! Beep! The alarm suddenly began to vibrate on the large reading table that was opposite her big bed. At first, it was impossible for her to hear this, but just like the alarm had a mind of its own, it increased it's tempo and suddenly began to ring faster and louder that Miss Jane was forced to open her eyes with a scream. She noticed the noise and she quickly grabbed the alarm trying to put it to sleep but it wasn't responding, so she had no option than to smash it on the floor.

Even the rustle of leaves sounded sharp. I eased up to the booth window and looked out. Inside my old apartment stood three figures—Alan, Bella, and Dylan. Of course they'd teamed up. A loudspeaker slid out the window. Alan's voice blasted across the complex. "Everyone, the apocalypse has started. I know you're looking for protection. I've got Caucasian Shepherds, a lion, and crocodiles. Any one of them can handle zombies. If you don't want to die, come join me. However..."

I remained silent at the front, with my gun raised and ready the whole time. The emergency lights in the research lab flickered on and off, and the air stank of blood and decay. Distant growls of the zombies rumbled through the halls. We were about to reach the exit when a familiar wail cut through the darkness. "Help… Please, help me!" I took a closer look and saw Esmeralda pinned against a wall by three zombies, their teeth sinking into her. Her right arm had been ripped off, blood gushing like a fountain.

He literally covered me with his body, making my breath hitch in my throat. “Are these clusters?” I whispered to the system and it flew around them for a few seconds before returning to my side. “Negative.” “Ferals?” “No.” It replied and my eyes widened in confusion. “If they aren't ferals or clusters, are they anchors?” I asked in horror as I glanced at the zombies once again, noticing how tattered they looked. They looked abnormal in all ways. Like their heads were placed wrongly, their hands switched by accident and their torso reversed.

With their heads bigger than their bodies? Eyes bigger than their mouth and nose? Could their skin be colored green or blue? Could they be taller than humans?

A sense of horror and fear crept up on me as I realized that the enemy this time wasn't werewolves, but a pack of bloodthirsty zombies.

Now I wasn't so big on Religion but I did believe in God,Heaven and Hell so hearing this from them made me pretty scared. "Amelia we curse you and everything that you will ever lay your hands on. I still was not able to move or do anything at all. All I felt was the pain that came from these insects biting and crawling all over my body.

Because it was never the intention of the aliens to completely destroy the human race since it is coveted for multiple purposes that range from slave labor to food sources, they are furious over the unnecessary nuclear damage that was done to the planet and its inhabitants and even more so over the man made zombie virus that they are diligently seeking a cure for.
