In no time, only Kevin, slumped on the ground, and Alina, still groaning, were left there.
Kevin seemed completely shattered. He crawled over, clutching Alina’s pant leg tightly. “Alina, say something! You love me, don't you? Those recordings aren’t real, right?!”
Alina, drenched in sweat from the pain, dropped all pretense now that everything was exposed. She kicked his hand away in disgust. “Get off me, you useless piece of trash! If it weren’t for you, would I have gotten beaten like this? You’re nothing but bad luck!”
