Alpha Beta Ranking Novels & Stories

Said a man, as he slowly came down the stairs, his voice reverberated around the cell. "I'm glad you're finally awake, I could have sworn you were dead," He smiled at her as he came into view, standing in front of her cell. I could tell that he was a high-ranking wolf from the way he carried himself. He wasn't an Alpha, I would have been able to sense that if he had been, but I knew he was most likely a Beta or a Delta, one of the Alpha's second or third in command. The Alphas were the strongest of any wolf pack, they were also the highest and purest of any bloodline, a position which they were born it. The Betas and Deltas were often chosen by the Alphas from the strongest in their packs, u

During our road trip, I asked a few questions, it’s why I now know more about this. He was ranked second in position after the Lawkers followed by Vetino then the betas, gammas, deltas. What I learned is that those positions are handed over by heirs or chosen by the Alpha and Luna and when a female is a beta or any other rank, her mate is ranked the same if she wishes or sees him worthy of that title. As for a Luna, she rules as equally as an Alpha. "He seemed to be--" "Immature?" he continued, smirking. I gasped, trying to hold back my giggle and failing.

I quizzed I watched as he sipped his drink, his Adam's apple raising and falling before he lowered the cup "You have different ranks. The top of the rank are the alpha couple. Alpha Marc as he's the son of the former alpha couple, Dimitri and Bennet" he said and I nodded, "then comes the second in command or the Beta in which this case is you" he looked up at me and when I nodded he continued, "You're the Alphas right hand. You sometimes take over as alpha in case the Alpha is unavailable or needs you to go in his place to a meeting with other packs"

he smiled. Scratch loyal. Maybe, just ambitious. “What does being at the top of the list mean?” I asked, pulling the papers out. There were a whole lot of them. About 10 sheets, meaning rogues have visited this pack more times than I had thought. Why? “Being the alpha, like you are, a beta, or someone really important. Like someone in the council?” “If that’s what you mean, then there’s probably only a handful of people who are on the list, and,” I glanced at him, “you are one of them. You are the Alpha prince’s beta. Doesn’t that count?”

ELIAS’S POV The electronic leaderboard hung high in the centre of the main hallway, glowing brightly against the walls. A crowd had already gathered beneath it, students craning their necks as the board shifted categories every few seconds. Top ten students in different categories Alphas. Female Alphas. Betas. Female Betas. Gammas. Female Gammas. The rankings for the first week were based on last semester’s performance, and tension buzzed thick in the air as everyone waited for the Alpha list to reappear.

My nostrils flared at her scent, weakened, starved, desperation. In our world. The alphas are the rulers of territories we call turf, or locally known as pack. Alphas are the strongest known rank of my kind, followed by Betas, who are always warriors. Then, the normal pack members who aren't ranked but are still strong and can defend themselves in time of war.

She planned to milk this experience for all it was worth, by the time they left this place, she would at least have basic knowledge of werewolves, and not just some ideology from an outsider. “Well ,there are the thetas, the betas and the Alphas. The Alphas are at the top of the ladder, there’s usually one for each state, then there are regional Alphas, chosen among the state Alphas, Continental Alphas, then there’s an Alpha Supreme, he’s the head Alpha of the world. The Alphas make the decisions around here, they sign treaties, basically, they are like Presidents. After them, we have Betas, they act like Vice Presidents, only, they do more, the Betas are the head warriors of every pack, the

She went on to explain. "If they continue their education at a university, their ranking may improve. They must work hard to achieve their goal of becoming Beta. The children here are among the lowest ranks, the Omega." While I was listening to her, all I could do was nod. It appears that discrimination exists also in this realm as well, according to my understanding. Whoever is weak or impoverished is referred to as the Omega. According to what I understand, betas are werewolves who are strong and capable of living, while Alphas are the most powerful of all the werewolves.

Alex looked over to where Ash was looking and saw four people. One was a long, black-haired female with good style who looked older and clearly was an alpha. And an arm was wrapped around her by a man who is clearly his mate, and he is also Alpha. Next to them was a boy who was like a teenager's kid and was also an Alpha. He was holding hands with a pretty lady with brown, shaggy hair and glasses. She was a beta. He saw the four of them make their way towards a table. Alex looked over at Ash and grabbed his hand gently as he led them to the table his siblings were at with their drinks in their free hands.

I asked and he shook his head. “I don’t know how accurate it is, but I know that things are going to be complicated from here.” He said, and I looked at Ryan who was quiet throughout the whole thing. I knew that him being the Alpha’s current beta, he would be lost in so many thoughts, but right now, we needed to know whether or not they needed our help. “They are in their graves…”
