The Moon Chose Me Twice
Matted gray hair, skin covered in sores, and the jagged remains of the wounds I inflicted on the forest road.
He looks up as I enter. His eyes are wide, the pupils dilated so far the iris is barely visible. A chemical madness burns there.
"Alpha," he croaks, a bloody grin splitting his cracked lips. "The big bad wolf comes to play."
I don't speak. I walk around him, letting my scent, pure, aggressive Alpha dominance, fill the small space.
