Helena POV “No!” I yelled in the hollow of my cell. It was just me down here in this pitch dark, stench covered dungeon. How did I not see this coming? It was all working out well. The shopping trip was supposed to be a decoy, to pull out any fingers that might be pointing to me. Where were you when the alpha fell sick? Puts on a fake sad emotion, “I don't know.” I happened to be on a trip when it happened. Is he okay?”

There is no table or bed, not even a chair or a blanket, so they had to sleep and sit on the hard floor. “You will both stay here until we have time to take care of this. You will get fed and get water, but that is it.” Alpha Reed says. “Means no phone calls, no visits. Nothing.” Parker says. Amy answers by screaming, and Anne just sneers at us all. We leave the dungeon, and Ryder tells two warriors to stay guard, and that the two others will take over every six hours. They bow their heads and let us know they understand, and then we leave.

The seven by twelve-foot cells not only had bars of pure silver but housed a layer of the toxic metal beneath the layers of brick and stone. There would be no shifting in Nightfall Penitentiary. Ever. More often than not, those who walked through these doors rarely ever left. According to the guard, this place held the worst of our kind. The wolves that committed crimes utterly unforgiveable, so abhorrent they could never be rehabilitated. I found it ironic the previous Alpha was being kept in their high-risk section.

The last thing she remembered was running through the woods, trying to escape the rival pack of werewolves that had been hunting her down. But now she was in a small, cramped room with concrete walls and no windows. She tried to get up, but her arms and legs were bound tightly to the metal bed frame. Panic set in as she realized she has been transferred to another strange cell. Suddenly, the door to the room opened, and a tall, muscular man walked in. It was the Alpha Draco of the imperial pride pack, the one she had been warned about. Ashina's heart pounded in her chest as she took in his cold, hard features. He was ruthless and dangerous, and she knew she was in deep trouble.

We went down the hall to the cell holding the Alpha. He was silver cuffed to a chair in the middle of the cell. His hands and feet were cuffed. He was naked, much to my disgust. He was a slob of a man and the thoughts that he almost got his hands on Jessica makes me nauseous. It reminds me of the unknown male who did get away with my precious mate.

My heart beat faster the deeper I went. When I reached the final turn, I saw Damian. He was slumped against the cold wall of his cell, head bowed, arms resting on his knees. His black hair was tousled, his jaw unshaven. Dirt clung to his bare arms, and dried blood painted streaks down one side of his face. But still… he was him. And for a split second, something warm bloomed in my chest.

But Granger thought of a dramatic opening to his stage. “Jade Aloha is in the dungeon cell 5, boss.” The right-hand man remarked. The dungeon was not far from this underground hall. Just a few turns and then the dark cells greeted their eyes. The right-hand man turned on the orange lights hanging above in each cell. In the next second, they heard loud noises from the cells as the prisoners harshly shook them to get their attention. “Get me out of here, you fucking bastard!” “Is that Mr. Granger? Mr. Granger, please! I will do whatever you want!”

The two of them didn't speak, but already knew what they had to do. They then placed Liam's body in the center of the special cell in question and then chained his hands and feet with special metal handcuffs containing silver. Yes. This prison was an ancient prison built by their ancestors who were still at war with the Lycans. A special prison to hold the Alphas. Silver Prison. “You know I have no choice, right?” Axias asked Russell. The tall, muscular man nodded. “Yes, Your Majesty. I will order my men to go report to the North. His Grace Old Duke must know everything.”

Before I completed my words, the other girl had pinned the girl on black down. “Yeah nevermind.” I said to her. Up next was the guy from earlier and some random guy. Theirs was more intense than the previous ones. Both were precise, and calculative. One looked fierce as if his life depended on it while the other seemed to be having fun. From up close, the Alpha looked extremely handsome, and I couldn't help but stare at him. “Don't tell me you're ogling Blake. Wait till you hear Damien JUST speak,” Brienna giggled. “You'd be in nirvana for days.”

"Are you sure you don't have any more information you'd like to share, Mr. Brown? This is your last chance. Otherwise, you'll have to face the consequences of what you did. You could stay in prison for the rest of your life." "So life imprisonment is the worst the Diamond Pack do to its criminals." Jack whispered by her side. "Mr. Brown, do you know where Arden and his allies are?" the judge asked, as a last attempt to get something useful out of him. "I wouldn't say even if I did. The man is a beast. You wouldn't go after him, even if your life depended on it." The troublemakers started to scream and push people forward, so they could get closer to the stage.
