The Guardian of the Ash The First Alpha stood before them, his lab coat whipping like a funeral shroud. In the real light, he didn't look like a legendary warrior; he looked like a man who had spent a thousand years watching a funeral. He held the Physical Golden Whistle—a dented, tarnished piece of brass that glinted weakly in the grey sun.

Annie was quiet, waiting. "I've spent all my life being a weapon," Alpha continued, his voice low and careful. Gloyd sighed, taking off his thoughts of the past and grabbed Alex and put him on the ground, not too far from the trap they made. Gloyd let out a numbing shriek, to protect Alex from the nearby enemies. Upon landing, Alex immediately materialized his silver bludgeon and bludgeoned everyone who came across him. ****Author's POV**** King Zora Leondros, walked towards the large wooden table in the center of the room. He stood tall, proud, confident and regal, with his golden mane shining in the light of the torches. Alpha Menelik, the Alpha of Lakewood pack, also made his entrance into the room. Months ago, his father, Alpha Barak Maximoff kicked the bucket, and Menelik succeeded his father as the Alpha. Alpha Menelik decided to toll a path different from his father's. He decided against going all-out to wage war and hunt the werelions, instead he set a pact, and made peace with them, and they became his trusted ally.

He is the Alphas father, course he knew a lot. Liza was quiet for some time, it was a fact known to everyone since they were kids. In fact, they're not ordinary brothers they were twins. Alpha Rei and the leader of the Elite warrior Reynolds are twin brothers. Yoshiki carries his mother's last name, Black. Her mother was supposedly the destined Luna being the only child of Alpha Daemon of the Black Panter pack, but since the war broke and most of them die, her father pledge allegiance with the Pike in exchange, she would wed Reynold her mate but will carry the last name Black to continue their lineage.

Alpha Kai had become more eager. "I still don't know what you want me to do, love. As a member of the Council of Protectors, both fighters are related to the Alpha, should I strike both dead with my axe, or who are we supporting?" the huge Alex asked unreasonably. He wielded his axe around to show his readiness to fight.

Another man chimed in. “Okay. Share a report citing all the findings. Also, write the testimony of the witnesses, word by word. Make it short and to the point. You can receive your bonus once I have the file.” Steven disbanded and dismissed the team. From the looks, it was absolutely impossible for Alpha Drefan to be alive. Yet, there was someone helping the Scarlett Witch. No good person would try to face the wrath of the Moon Goddess by siding with her. What’s unnerving is that the person helping the witch isn’t a normal one. That person probably knew teleportation.

If she did, she would’ve never made such a bet. However, everyone here thought that Aunt Rockefeller was just Alex's aunt; hence such a bet wouldn't make things awkward at all. “Come at me then!” Alex raised his hand slightly, not moving an inch from where he stood as he activated his Mystic Armor. Patterns of a turtle shell started showing up under his skin.

I hear a voice say and when I take a closer look at the speaker, I find the face familiar. “You’re him! The strange dude at my door!” I shout with wide eyes, everything coming back to me. “Good to know your memory is in good shape. The boss hates forgetful people,” the stranger answers, adding more confusion to my thoughts. The boss? “You… You abducted me!! Let me go! I demand you let me go!” I shoot out with all the boldness I can gather in me, making them stop. At first, I think it’s because of me then I see a man in a red suit walking towards us. He has this dangerous aura that surrounds him. I’m very sure my heart just skipped a beat.
