Besides the thin cushion I was laying down on, there was nothing else I could see or feel around me. Fuck, this was so much harder than I expected. How the hell am I supposed to know what to do and where to go when I don’t even know where to move?! Being in pitch black darkness is awful. It’s even more terrifying thinking that I’m supposed to be able to see at least something because of my wolf eyes, but Goddess knows what kind of darkness I am in that even my eyes are unable to gauge anything around me. This was maddening. Shit, what was that?!

Entrapped. Darkness loomed over him as he tried to breathe but couldn't and yet he felt pretty much alive. He blinked rapidly but not an ounce of light graced his eyes. Pitch darkness surrounded him. The floor beneath him was black and cold. He was barefoot as he stepped forward then another. He continued to walk nonstop but it was like he was swirling in circles in a never-ending hole of nothingness. Why was he here? Hamza was muddled. Nothing made sense. What was this place? How did he get there?

Darkness invaded me, and this time, it wasn't a peaceful darkness, but a darkness filled with agony I couldn't bear. I clung to Brayden as he tried, in vain, to protect my wound, then everything went black.
