Turning around, I found Angry Jake charging towards me, waving two daggers in his hands. "What the hell?" I muttered, taken aback by his sudden aggression. He lunged at me, attempting to thrust the daggers into my stomach, but I managed to catch his hand in mid-air. Clenching my teeth, I tightly held onto his wrist, struggling to keep the daggers away from my body as he fought to harm me. "I thought you were joking about killing me," I said, gazing into his bloodshot eyes. "I didn't have a solid reason to want to kill you before, but now I do," he growled in a low, rumbling tone.

My breath hitched. "Ari!" Malakai didn't hesitate. He threw his massive body directly into my space, his large frame acting as an absolute shield between me and the incoming trajectory. BANG. A sharp, wet sound cut through the chaos. Malakai let out a low, guttural grunt as a high-caliber round tore straight through the meat of his upper left arm. The force of the impact spun him around, his blood instantly spraying across the white concrete wall like a graphic, violent painting.

Everything went smoothly for a while but then I began to notice changes. Jenny stopped at the word as she tried hard to hold back tears, “He…he started to become more violent, more angsty. He had been sweet and docile but he said work was stressing him out. After a week of his first day at work, we had an argument. His eyes were bloodshot and he was very angry. I tried to pacify him but he hit me.”

I couldn't believe how much my father trusted and respected him and yet he turned out to be our worst nightmare. Andrea felt stifled, as her eyes took in the bloody mess on the ground, and as she looked away, her eyes caught on familiar faces. A sharp pain slammed to her chest like she was pierced with a knife. Her tears came like a flood and the sob found its way out of her mouth. One, or two, and then in series. There laid her mother's and father's corpses on the floor. They were dead, she wanted to run to go meet them. She couldn't believe that they were dead, her knees immediately went weak and she just wanted to die at that moment.

A third cup lay on its side, coffee splattered over the table, and drizzling to the floor. I gasped as I watched the stream of coffee. A man in a black uniform lay sprawled on the tile, blood pooling around him. He was most definitely dead with his eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling. Holy hell! He was a guard here. His badge read Jon Sanders. I couldn't look at him any longer. He was dead. I couldn't imagine Thomas or Derek doing something like that, but that meant the maniac squad was definitely up here. Shit.

I am dead. His lips parted when he saw his dead laptop. He immediately darkened his gaze when he saw the pitcher on the table and his gaze returned to me. The step towards me was heavy. He immediately grabbed my arm, almost squeezing it in his anger. He's a mad man right now. I don't know that he's damn scary but attractive when he's mad. "What have you done!?" His eyes were now burning with anger. It's like he is going to swallow me anytime.

I whispered softly, my voice breaking—a combination of peaking anger and extreme disgust. ​The paralyzing shock slowly began to fade, replaced by something much darker and more dangerous: pure adrenaline. ​I stood up slowly, my feet feeling cold yet firmly planted on the floor. I stared at the screen with a new intensity. If before I only felt the need to retaliate, now I had a reason sufficient to burn their world to ash. ​They want me crazy? I laughed softly, a dry laugh devoid of emotion. They don't yet know what can be done by someone who has already experienced death and decided to return as a predator.

The human version of Hulk as the announcer had called him. He stared at me with bloodshot eyes, like a predator ready to devour its prey. He had eliminated four men before me. I was the last guy on the list since my entry came late. I hadn't planned on going to fight but after Kris shut me out, I needed to take my anger out on something or particularly someone. I'd never been good with anger management. When vexed, someone dies. It's how I'd been trained. The bell went off signalling for the fight to start. Hulk charged at me and a smile broke out of my face.

“Help!" Mira didn't answer and Maddy's face now was purple, trying to catch her breath. She turned and looked at Mira. She was still standing on the same space they sat on. Blood streaked down on her gorgeous face. She was looking at Maddy, her eyes menacing and evil, all the anger in the world was in her face. Her jaw set and her teeth clattering. She looks like she wants to kill Maddy. Her fingers were twitching at her sides and she's breathing heavily.
