Agnes was bringing my dreams and fantasies to reality. Suddenly, Agnes roared out primally. Her eyes had turned a deadly red colour and her rage could not be contained. She bared her teeth at me and suddenly, her bones began to snap and shift tearing her clothes. Her belly elongated, fur appeared on her skin and she became very different.

The sound of his shift was thunder in the small space. I pressed myself against the back wall of the cave, and my legs gave out. The stone bit into my back. The heat still pulsed through me, a sick rhythm that made everything blur at the edges, and I watched the fight like it was happening underwater. Bastian's wolf was a monster. But the second rogue was already on his flank, and the third circled toward the fire, toward me.

The other intruder with a bulky body and sour face offered an answer to their leader’s query. The leader retorted with hissed, “Another stupid ogre! Do you think I did not know that we are in a forest?! What forest is this and how can we find the way back to our hideout?!” Being called an ogre, the bulky body man retaliated to their leader. “How will we know? We came here at the same time. If you did not know where we are, much more that we did not know where we are; idiot,” he said angrily while lowering his voice when he mentioned the word idiot.

The two ran to the water like kids wetting themselves and jumping without hesitations and fear. While arranging the stuffs I brought, I suddenly realized something and look back at them. They seriously look like humans; they can be wet. I watched them until Angelo came to me running and taking his sleeves off him. My breath shortened seeing his half naked body. His 6 pack abs are outshining the sun. A gulp followed after I close my mouth for almost drooling over his sexiness. “Don’t you wanna join us?” he asked panting a bit.

The two halves of his face had seemed to shift; the bone structure beneath the flesh, causing his face to sink in slightly, gave him a gorilla–like appearance. He also had no color. He was as white as an albino. His grey eyes were fringed in reddish lashes that looked almost non-existent. His upper lip seemed to have three distinct sections that she couldn't quite understand. He was by far the scariest looking man she'd ever seen.

Even though he was hideous, the ogre’s gaze was kind when he looked at the girl. “We’d like to take Abigail back ... the girl you kidnapped.” “She's my wife. Not your business. Leave!”

Stacy chanced a glance in Okimi’s direction before continuing, “She believes we are dealing with quite an ancient foe, one that literally feeds on strife and chaos.” The elevator doors opened and Dominic stepped out and turned to face Stacy, “What is it?” One simple word was uttered, but it did not come from Stacy, Okimi didn’t mean to speak the word it just slipped out as she realised what the Hellhound was talking about, “Nogitsune.” Dominic switched his glance to Okimi and back to Stacy who nodded regrettably. “And what the hell is a Nogitsune?” Valaria asked stepping off of the elevator.
