The Darkness

The Darkness

both men said, falling to their knees and palms. Alu and Akar looked between themselves before looking to the ground. “I am perplexed,” Lord Anubis said, standing from his throne. “Two mortals when I expected a God.” His tone was deep and full of rage. “Lord Anubis, we were sent by Pharaoh to meet with…” “I know who sent you,” Anubis interrupted. “But what to do with you is now the question.” The brothers again looked at each other, confused.

The Cursed Prince And His Beloved Maid

"You come to help me, don't you? To resurrect my love, Anna?" A deep, resonant chuckle escaped Thanaros, the God of Death. "Yeah, little human," he replied, his voice carrying an otherworldly weight. "I am indeed the God of Death, Thanaros. But the cycle of life and death is not mine to disrupt. I cannot resurrect your dead lover."

Lindsay replied. “That is Anubis. We named him after the Egyptian god of cemeteries and cremation. He is an evil creature that seems to kill simply for the enjoyment of killing. He has been held for nearly as many years as our little friends who like to throw things. I think he was studied even more than I was. Was he recaptured?” John asked. “No, Lindsay killed it. She shot it as it charged one of her deputies. I was there when that happened. I had a team come and collect it,” Wren told John.

The Reaper and The Devil

A meteor hitting us? "Don't lie to me." His red irises got brighter. "You already called Satan and he said no to whatever you asked of him. You want me to convince him and you don't want Death to know." Anubis glared and leaned over Lucifer. "Look fallen-" Lucifer pushed his hand against the under part of Anubis's muzzle. "I've always appreciated our working relationship, so how about you act like Hades, and be respectful before you make me an enemy."

A God's Obsession

A God's Obsession

“My Lord, my Lord!” Maru ran back inside, nearly tripping over the stone steps. “This fool,” Anubis muttered under his breath, his golden eyes narrowing. “What is it?” He raised a brow, his voice low and dangerous. “She’s here,” Maru gasped, trying to catch his own breath. “I know,” Anubis said with a snort, his gaze fixed ahead. “I already sensed her.” His fingers flexed, golden sparks dancing along his knuckles, anticipation and annoyance mingling in his expression.

“Why does that sound so familiar?” “It’s the name of the Egyptian God that’s always portrayed with the head of a jackal on its body. I guess it sorta looks like a wolf head in some depictions.” Georgia smiled. “Sounds cool. What was Anubis the God of?” “Death. Or more like the afterlife. He guided lost and helpless souls and oversaw the last procession of the dead.” “That’s a little grim.” Hayden smiled. “Well, you wanted an edgy name for me, remember?”

Married to the God of Death

Married to the God of Death

“But madam, the master actually revolutionized the underworld. When the current master assumed lordship, the underworld was in a state of chaos.” “Current master?” Angelique clarified. “Hasn’t Hades always been the god of the underworld?” “The answer to that, my lady, is both a yes and a no. .” Rheie further explained, “The underworld has only one master. However, just like you, he is a reincarnation.” “Oh..” This made Angelique curious about this Hades. He used to be a mortal, just like her. Who is he, exactly? “What happened? I mean, how did his former die?”

Living with a God

Living with a God

It feels like I was pushing a huge rock and didn’t make it to move. Anubis smiled in a sinister way. His eyes stare back at me with his black orbs’ pupils. “This isn’t funny for telling me you are meeting some God. Isn’t that insulting?” “What? —” My voice trailed off, “What are you talking about? Why do you keep talking about a God?” I tried to hide anything that he can tell I know a God. But when I think more of it, his name, and his aura. It isn’t just right like a human. “Are you a God?”

The Alpha King’s Runaway Mate

The Alpha King’s Runaway Mate

Regina had asked, “Charon sent me. I have his book. He said you would help me!” Anubis smiled, “Do you know who Anubis was in ancient Egyptian mythology?” Regina groaned. “Look, I don’t understand the hard on you guys have for Ancient Greek and Ancient Egypt. And I don’t care. You have to take me to Paraguay” Anubis kept grinning that uncanny grin, “Anubis weighed the hearts of men to decide whether a soul was pure enough to enter the realm of the dead. And you, dear Miss Regina, have been judged wanting.”

A world he could rule. An Egyptian princess, born of the love Anubis had with a Pharaoh's sister, was taken by Asmodeus and abused for years in his attempts to have her conceive his children. She was born of the deity of death, so every one of her children was born to death. Anubis himself tried to avenge his daughter by killing Asmodeus, but the snake bastard somehow escaped death and went to plague a blooming Roman Empire with his own adulterous agenda. History repeated itself over and over again with this demon, but he was never able to be killed. Not with the kiss from the goddess of life embedded in his soul.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading this book, but now I can't get enough! It is very well written. The characters are so relatable, there was allot of thought and love put in their development. The story is a rollercoaster and tastefully done, it is exciting and heart warming.

ohh poor Cameron i really feel sorry for him and can't help thinking that Chloe is responsible for his degeneration and monstrosity. he was an egoistic alpha twit who wanted his mate to fully submit to him and worship him ( big deal ? ) but Chloe turned out to be equally egoistic causing him double
