Apostles Berserk Novels & Stories

"That is what happened. The gods were a major part of our lives then. Today, the people have all but forgotten them except in myth and story." "Okaaaay." Liv drew out the word. "We'll go with that for now." Brodi frowned at her but continued. "The gods wanted to contain the power of my family so they cursed us. If the male heir, the pack Alpha, did not find his fated mate within a certain time, he turned into a Berserker. A Berserker is a being who has immeasurable strength but no reason. He kills indiscriminately. He cannot, therefore, lead a clan or pack. He must be put down." Brodi's voice lowered. "Many members of my family were killed over the years by an Alpha who went Berserker before

he asked Duke, not minding my presence. "Yes, babe, she's my steward," Duke responded dryly. If I am not mistaken, she is Marie, the second daughter of the Menejez tribe; they lived near the Criose territory, the most hard-headed tribe; they were called the black sheep tribe. They don't follow the rules; they are killed once every hundred years via poisoning or hunting. They were the main reason why we wolves were almost exposed, and now, humans do believe we exist and continually hunt us. Either to kill or to attract people for money.

It was Duke. Dragging his broken leg, he threw himself in front of me. His eyes were no longer that gentle blue. They had turned a savage, blood-red. Every hair on his body stood on end, and his whole frame seemed to swell in an instant. The mechanical voice rang out again. This time, it wasn’t just for me. It blasted across the entire rooftop like a loudspeaker. “Host detected under lethal threat.” “Infinite Supply Search System... authorization upgraded.” “Combat mode activated: King of All Dogs.”

I had underestimated just how shameless they were. She continued, "Each of them is built like a tank. It's the end of the world. Why would they settle for taking orders from you? Even if you have all the money in the world, what does it matter?" It hit me all at once. Victoria was right. In the apocalypse, no one wanted to be under someone else. The man whose arm had been snapped on the first day cursed beside her. His resentment was obvious. "Stop wasting time talking to him. I say we break the door down right now. I'll cripple him myself and throw him out to the zombies."

"They're already waiting for you." The research center's lab was even more advanced than I imagined. One of the elderly men, wearing a white lab coat, was introduced to me as Professor Uriah Emerson. Before the apocalypse, he was the country‘s top virus researcher. He was holding my blood test report with trembling hands.

Senior Milky Way couldn't stand Lucas' arrogance any longer. "Kid, since you want to die so much, I shall grant your wish!" As soon as he finished speaking, Senior Milky Way raised his big hand. Then, the spiritual force condensed into a big hand and attacked Lucas. Lucas' smooth and delicate face was very calm. Then, he'd fused with the Apocalyptic Legion. Subsequently, he used god-ranked Berserk! In an instant, his combat strength increased by 50 times! "Well..." Everyone present could sense the changes in Lucas as they couldn't help the shock on their faces.

The strength of Kapres are supernatural and a fall like that would not be enough to kill it. He jumped on the top of the giant and began striking at its shaven skull. Blood sprayed in every strike. The Kapre wrestled weakly, but the human's bloodthirst was demon-like. It was unstoppable. Lukas turned away from the killing and aimed around the trees. He saw multiple cultists on the ground, dead. Francis' team were continually fighting the other cultists. He gazed back at the trees above and noticed no activity. Sergeant Alice's team were a few paces behind his, engaging the other belligerents near them.

Xiao Long also nodded at Huo Yan's words, but he also disagreed with him at the same time, the Berserk state of a Level 5 Demonic Beast was not that simple. The Berserk state, was an ability that Demonic Beasts could release when they had peaked emotions. This state allows their strength to double. But this ability is quite risky because when in this state, Demonic Beasts will just be like crazy animals that attack whatever is around them. The Berserk that a Level 5 Demonic Beast has is indeed different from that of a Level 4 Demonic Beast and below. Level 5 Demonic Beasts were at the level of Spirit Manifestation Cultivators. If someone in the Spirit Manifestation Realm could manifest their

"You’ve arrived just in time for the 'Execution'." The Battle of the Apostles The Apostles moved with a speed that defied the Vanes' senses. Kaelen, recovered from the initial hack, engaged the lead Apostle. Their collision sent a shockwave of silver and red light through the atrium. Kaelen wasn't just punching; he was "Overloading" the Apostle’s data-stream with raw, physical force. "You can't... delete... a mountain!" Kaelen roared, his fists glowing with the last of his silver-metal resonance.

He'd done this. The urge to turn demonic seized him. Gritting his teeth he fought down the instinct, his body shaking with the effort. His muscles bulged and his fangs elongated, aching to tear and bite through his enemy. He slammed his fist into a pillar, the stone crumbling under the force. He could not afford to turn demonic now. Even if doing so would increase his strength, it would also seal his fate. Berserkers were the strongest among the demon clans, known for their brutality and aggression. When fully demonic their strength increased tenfold, their demonic form perfectly evolved to strike fear. He despised it, a growling and vicious monster.
