NIGHTMARES. A very bad or frightening dream. Anna was starting to lose count of the number of nightmares she’s been having since Josh’s death but whenever she woke up with one, clearing her head with a jog had been working well on her. She lets out a sigh as she turns sideways to stare at the mini alarm clock she had next to her bed. The time read 6:00 am and she hated the fact that she had to be awake at this early hour of the day.

The only thought that came to his mind was that he didn’t need to hide Sarah’s pregnancy and he could get assistance from the whole team of doctors. A news clipping caught his attention. Mr. Miller is missing for two days. His family has approached MID but no luck yet. “Anna was telling the truth then. Her father never returned.” Arnold said massaging the back of her neck. “Do you think he is alive?” Sarah said staring hard at the screen. “Probably not. It’s Mr. Rendall’s style. He kills people but keeps them alive digitally until it is a suitable time to wipe off their identities.” Sarah shuddered on hearing this and said, “But, wasn’t he trapped by the owner of the Secret Club?”

I breathed out heavily and moved to the bed to wear my white night dress. After wearing it, I perched on the bed and picked up my phone. I researched about werewolves, asking if they were real. It was all fantasy and not real. Am I dreaming? Am I hallucinating? My head throbbed with a pounding headache. So, I put the phone aside and drifted off to sleep.

“I didn’t even know the supernatural creatures I read about in novels were real until a few days ago when I saw a vampire.” “Uhm... Are you okay? You seem stressed lately.” “I couldn’t sleep (lowers his head). I kept having nightmares. I was afraid the vampire would come. But then I read this (hands Lyall another book, this time thicker). I found this book in my brother’s room this morning. And you know what? Vampires can’t come into the house unless invited! That means I’m safe at home! And you know what? Turns out werewolves are real!”

He told me and I still couldn't believe his words. Werewolves? Souls? Mate? this all happened in the movies not real... Please someone wake me up from this terrible dream.

Selene asked worrying and Maine took a deep breath before she spoke. "The disciples of darkness. The vampires." Maine uttered which made Jenny and Selene to feel frightened. "W-what? B-but they are not real. They are just an old story." Selene uttered that also agreed by Jenny. Maine shook her head while they were continued walking. When they reached the end of the hallway, they sat on the bench. "I know no one will believe me. But I saw them with my two eyes. I know they are coming in this city and spread nightmares." Maine sadly replied. Selene shook her head and Jenny scratched her forehead as they heard those story from Maine.

Telling him the exact old told tale. “Don’t you remember those happy voices in your mind as you sleep? Or maybe the screams you hear of terror in a nightmare. What is a nightmare? Isn’t a nightmare a small prison you’re trapped in, with no hopes of waking? Why? Because you never know you’re asleep. You forget everything, your name, your life, and who you are. The only thing to accompany you are the monsters that laugh in your mind, that taunt you, knowing everything. Your life, your happiness, everything that had been stolen away. But the scariest part of the nightmare won’t be the monsters. They aren’t scary themselves. The most fearful thing of all is that they are yours. That you can hear

They eventually die and a new Ma Vista is born. If the new Ma Vista is a boy he will start to have nightmares when he is 15. If it is a girl Ma Vista, the child will start having nightmares at the age of 16, some develop a bit later than that and their nightmares finishes in the middle of their 17th year.’

I realized that what he said was true, I had died in my sleep, one of my fears was to sleep and be trapped in one of my nightmares, not knowing what was real or not. This thing I was living was like a very bad nightmare. And there were monsters lurking: Death, damned souls, and God knows what else I'd be about to discover. I've never had a moon goddess take over my body before. I've never had a lot of things happen to me before. If the last year of my life has proven anything to me, it's that unicorns, werewolves, and ghosts are all real. The nightmares that exist in my story books are all true. Those authors knew something about the world that the rest of us could only dream of.
