The Evil Fae Meets Her Match

The Evil Fae Meets Her Match

“Ha sounds just like me, “Alizeh retorted. “Hush human, don’t you know it’s rude to interrupt? Manners are very important,” Balthazar continued. “I didn’t know what was going on, so I came back to see. The village people had burned down my family’s layer. We never even bothered them, but they didn’t care. They killed my mother, brother, and my father all in one massive attack. They used magical fire, called bellatand. It spreads 10 times as fast as regular fire, but it cannot be put out. It burns out much quicker, than most fires, but it does its job pretty much instantly. By the time I got back- My whole life was reduced to ashes. I hurried away and came here. This was where my mother kept

Moon Kissed Mates

Moon Kissed Mates

Caleb said as he walked me over to the couch and helped me sit down. “Oh. She doesn’t live with you?” I asked confused knowing she had helped him with taking care of me. Caleb chuckled, “No she lives with my mother a couple of cabins down, but she makes herself at home here to sometimes.” “So, your parents live close?” I asked wondering if I’d get to meet them. “Just my mother and my sister.” Caleb said with what look like hurt in his eyes. I wondered if I asked to much until he added, “My father was killed in a war against the Crescent Moon pack.”

The Bitten and the Born

The Bitten and the Born

"How did he find me? The protections are still fixed and he didn't seem to be able to cross the barrier. He could see inside so she would perform her Mamas spell again immediately." "Miss. I can hear your thoughts. You can't hide from me like this. I am here for help. I'll drop the pretense. I am Barren Bradford Whitley. I’ve looked far and vast to find the one whom I could procure a very powerful potion from. Behind every locked door is the mention of Alexandre Bellavonnes." “He knows my mama?" dawning on her was the realization he knew a lot more than that." "Barren Whitley, you are too bold. If you knew mama then did you not hear? Savages ruined her beyond repair. She's gone mad and hidde

A surrogate for my ex's uncle

A surrogate for my ex's uncle

“I asked him about the sky, but he didn’t answer. He never answers whenever I ask him important questions. I was going to ask him why the accident happened that day, but I guess he wouldn’t answer either…” I furrowed my brow. “Who didn’t answer, Casper?” His eyes darted around the room, as if searching for an invisible presence. “Father... he’s always silent now. Mother, too. They don’t speak to me anymore. Or do they still talk to you?” Suddenly, he burst into laughter, his voice rising to a shout as he walked over to another vase. “Do they still talk to you?! Speak to me!” My heart sank. Casper’s parents had passed away decades ago. What was he saying? For a moment, I felt as if I were in

she glares at him in disbelief. “I can’t believe you just said all of that.” She storms out of the room and left the restaurant. Aleister’s father sat down on the chair and drinks a glass of water. “Dad, is that true? Mom’s parents were killed by a werewolf?” Aleister asked. Madison was also waiting for his answer. He looks at Madison before answering. “Yes, it’s true. That was even before you were born, days before our wedding.” Madison bowed her head because she feels bad for Aleister’s mother.

Taking a Chance on Love: The Youngers Book 2

Taking a Chance on Love: The Youngers Book 2

“That sounds loud.” She laughed. “Pretty much. We were a crazy bunch. Still are.” She thought of her siblings when they were kids, how they’d stuck together when their parents had started falling apart. Their mother, Beatrice, had killed herself, and their father Edward had been a mean, angry man. No one had mourned when he’d passed just a few years ago. “Do you see your parents ever?” Thea asked. “My dad passed five years ago. My mom lives in London with her new husband.”

Sugar Baby for Three Billionaire

Sugar Baby for Three Billionaire

Alma because, honestly, this is no longer funny to her. "Then ask your parents to see me tomorrow; it seems that talking to you is pointless!" snapped the old woman. Bella smiled broadly, then shook her head slowly. "I don't know where my father is, and my mother is dead. If you have to talk about something, it's better with me." Mrs. Alma was silent when she heard Bella's answer. Poor girl, that's what the old woman was thinking.

Luna Battle: The Game

Luna Battle: The Game

It means my parents can stop wasting time trying to find any guards that Bailey may have slept with. It does, however, make everything even harder. I know that werewolves and faes have not spoken for about twenty-five years. I'm not sure, however. Darius has an unusual expression and keeps glancing towards my dad like he knows something. I'm not sure what he thinks he knows. Maybe it's more the shock that Bailey had known someone from the fae community and had a relationship with them. Grasping Quinn's hand, I pull him forward as we follow my parents. It's more to ease his anxiety that seems to be radiating from him.

apprehensive at the start, the first two chapters were slow, but I get it, it's the back story. I'm happy I stuck with it. if you're reading this, push through the first few chapters, it's worth it and over not even read the entire book yet
Megan
This story really turned into something great as we get to know the main characters in the first story. The second half was so good. So love the continuation of the story with the next generation and new mates in part two. Part three just got started and I’m loving it. Definitely a good read!

Alpha's Pup Mate

Alpha's Pup Mate

"I didn't dream about a holiday to the Bahamas. I dreamed about dad dying but I don't know what happened next. When I heard that he was okay and just looking tired, I guessed that he was probably saved." "I figured that you were lying to me. If anything, you have alwaysbwanted a trip to Paris," my mum said with a slight giggle. "Please don't tell your father that I told you any of this. Bailey please, the reason your dad and Grey are so silent about the codex search is because they are so scared for you. They don't want anything to happen to you and neither do I." Mum stroked my cheek lovingly and I smiled. I knew that my parents cared so much about me and so did Grey.

the book is really nice, but Bailey is so immature and annoying, her actions in the last chapters just put me off so much, it’s like she makes me not want to read any further. Gray deserves way better.
JC..
I desperately want to like this book, and I definitely like what I understand, but there seem to be repeated issues with missing chapters and/or chapters from other books getting mixed in. Please fix if you can.

Forced Marriage With The Ruthless Alpha

Forced Marriage With The Ruthless Alpha

His face looked stiffer every time my mother called him by his first name. 'I don't know why your parents left you alone in such a big castle alone, Daniel." One corner of Balthazar's lips twitched again for the umpteenth time. "My parents didn't mean to leave me alone ... " he muttered with a frown on his face. Suddenly this absurd situation made me want to laugh. Mum's innocent questions and Balthazar's half-hearted responses, then Dad's occasional grunts from behind the wheel for a moment made me forget about Gabriel Adler and our planned meeting.
