Three other figures stood behind her. They were warriors and guardians. One of them carried the crest of the old northern kingdom. The vision distorted briefly. Then the woman spoke. “We seal it tonight.”

I looked up and found myself looking into a pair of piercing grey eyes that belonged to none other than Logan Hill. “Marina? What are you doing here? Why are you running?” he asked.
