The fight is over. The crowd goes silent, the shock controlling the crowd before I hear a voice filled with pride and love boom, "Woohoo Armina, knew you could do it" Aiden claps loudly, before several hesitant claps join him. "Winner, Armina Carter" as more people join in the applause. One who joins hesitantly is Alpha Leon, Serena's brother as he stares at me darkly, a slow clap of obligation.

"Everyone, I would like to introduce to you Kenton's mate and the future Luna of our pack, Amaris Redding." Kenton turns to me, face beaming with happiness until he sees that I don't reciprocate the feeling as Kerryington's words settle in, confirming my fears. "Amaris..." he says my name like a plea, causing my gut to churn, I can tell that my wolf is just as happy as he is with the announcement, but I don't currently reciprocate those feelings. This is all too much, too soon. I can't do this. "No..." Kara nodded and a few people around the table chuckled. Jairo, however, still watched Ann longer than she could tolerate before he finally looked away. He leaned toward Kara and whispered in her ear, “I made the stuffed sardines for you. Try it.”

He knew that those actions would have an effect on any possessive werewolf, after all, he was on top of his mate right now. Anabelle noticed the exchange and prayed that Jaxon controlled himself and did not do anything that he would regret later. She took the chance to kick Amaris after he was done mocking her mate, the smug look on his face was replaced with a painful one when pain coursed through his leg. Anabelle cursed when the pain also surged through her leg after she kicked Amaris off of her and tried to stand up. She realised that this was harder than she thought, fighting Amaris was like fighting herself.

"Yeah, thinking of staying here from now on." He smiled, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Look who is here."

The girl seemed to stand there idle for so long. Without wasting any time Arya zoomed out to reach the storage room in no seconds and unlocked the door. "Anebella" Arya slowly called her name and with a force, Annie came running to him and fell over his arms hugging him tightly. That was a shocker for him and he reciprocated the hug when he felt her state. "I... I..." Annie's sobs got worse than expected. Arya patted her back slowly wanting to make her relaxed. But her condition was worsening with each second passing by.
